Do you care?
When I was about 8 weeks pregnant I made an appointment to see her.I never had a chance to meet her at that appointment or all the other appointments.I always saw her physician assistant.I was very upset so I looked for a new doctor .I agree
Everytime I went for an appointment with this doctor, I always had to see her PA. I didn't like that as well because when you go for these kinds of things you want to know for sure what's going on. However I like her PA and would go again to see her instead.Depends on what you're looking for...
Most people don't want to see a Nurse Practioner when they go to have their baby. I was disappointed a few times when I went in and was scheduled to see Amy instead of Dr. Potter. The only time I ever saw Dr. Potter was during my last month of pregnancy and 2 minutes before my son was delivered.Stay away from Dr. Potter's office. Find someone else.
this office will schedule multiple Office visits for unnecessary follow ups. at our first appt. Amy gave us a diagnosis and treatment plan and told us to come back in a week and if there was no improvement Dr. Potter would see us. At the second appt. Amy said well there has been no change so come back in a week and see dr. potter. my third visit i finally saw dr. potter who gave me the same wrong diagnosis as Amy and would have sent me away had i not been stern with her to find out what was wrong. I told her i had taken off work three days and paid $75 in copays. i wanted it fixed. The office staff can also be rude and have unpleasant mannerisms. Their rooms are set up so the bed is lined up with the door. everytime the door opens you see people in the hallway. When i went to another dr. for a second opinion, the office staff used every trick in the book not to send the records. i sent the authorization over on a Tuesday. i called on Thursday to make sure they had been sent aWould not recommend if you actually want to see a Dr.
The staff seems to be in a rush to get you off the phone as soon as possible. I only saw Dr. Potter the first time I went in and after that it has always been Amy (NP). The only reason I keep going is because it's so close to my house, otherwise I would look for a new doctor. My previous doctor was the best. He knew me and was truly concerned about my health. Too bad he retired.I was unhappy also
I went to see Dr. Potter based on knowing someone else in my office who used her. I needed a second opinion on something or I thought if I liked her well enough that I would switch to her. They told me when I called to schedule the appointment that I would see her PA unless I had a problem which I did. So when I went in I did see her but very briefly and she acted hesitant to answer any questions I had and just seemed to be in a hurry to get done with me.Dr. Potters Patient
The thing that annoys me is that you get undressed sit in the room with just this little paper thing on forever before the doctor sees you. When the doctor finally arrive they are in a hurry and rushing. Overall the office is nice and clean and the nurses are wonderful. The older gentlemen that's in charge of the sonograms I just love him. The most kind and gentle person you could meet. He has a great personality!!! Now for check out oh goodness this lady acts like she do not want to be there or something. Just rude, my thing if you are tired of your job get another one.Worldwide > United States > Rowlett, TX > Hospitals and Medical Centers
