'Pleasant' isn't the word

I decided to splurge and have a manicure and pedicure for the first time in my life and went to 'Pleasant' Nails. I had some questions about the procedures and prices, but as soon as I walked in they started yelling at me Pick a color! Pick a color! They finally told me the price and sat me down with someone whose English was practically non-existent, so another manicurist had to translate everything. The job she did on my feet was o.k., but nothing special. The job she did on my hands was so bad I went home and removed the polish and re-shaped my nails.

The Best in the Valley

I've been going to Lea for two years for pedicures. She is wonderful and the best I've ever been to. The polish does not come off and her leg massage is outstanding. This is a family owned business. I have never see anyone treated badly in all the time I've been going there. So, please do not let this one review spoil Pleasant Nails for you!!

not really the best

price-gouging. be forewarned.. They totally nickel and dime you and charge you for every service. I took my 7-year-old daughter in with me (for a special treat) the and the lady there asked us what we wanted and didn't tell us until afterwards how much it was going to be. She painted these little red blobs on her nails that were supposed to look like hearts and then charged us $3.00 per finger!! (in addition to the maincure 17 and the extra five bucks for the "French" maincure)
It's to bad. It's really close to my house and I was planning on being a a regular there. ok maybe $60 for gel nails (for mommy:)), but another $40 for fill-in every time is ridiculous. I guess the gel nails are supposedly better for your nails, they do stay shiny and don't discolor. But they put them on to thick ( I asked to put it on thin beforehand) and they still look fake. The second time "I told the guy to put them on thinner and they look better but I expect more the first time if I'm paying extra for it.
Additionally. the girl was practically rude to the customer before me who had questions. She was smart and walked out of the store and didn't come back.
The whole thing with my daughter makes me mad. I won't be going back there unless I want to burn a hundred dollars for my daughter and myself.
