Great gym
This gym is the best value around. I have been a member for a year now and they are always trying to improve the facility. The staff helpful, the place is always clean, and the equipment is top notc...GREAT VALUE
Member for three years....This is by far the cleanest, best atmosphere and best priced gym in the area. Like most businesses, the club is evolving and making changes to adapt to an increasingly difficult economy. I think that for most...Cant beat it for the price
I was a member of the club years ago but left because I moved out of the area. I recently moved back and decided to rejoin Platinum. The gym is completely different and also significantly cheaper. I now only pay $19.99 a month vs. 60.00....Nice gym
I've been going to this gym for 2 years now and love it. Usually isn't too crowded unless you go before normal work hours and right after. My only complaint is that they don't have a pool!Platinum Fitness is terrible
It used to be a cool gym, but it's terrible now. They recently redesigned it to be more of a ladies/personal training gym with a big emphasis on cardio, but the history of the place was much more of a regular guy's weightlifting gym. A place you could go and hang out with your buddies and work out too. Now the place is a mess, there are practically no free weights, it's too crowded at peak hours, the members are miserable, and staff could not care less. On top of it all, the manager has an infuriating arrogance to him. If you want to do cardio and lift light weights/use machines in a hot, dingy, outdated, ugly environment - this is the place for you. If you are serious about lifting weights, or work out with a group of friends - look elsewhere.Platinum Fitness is run by dirt bags
We signed up in Feb 09 for the spin and free babysitting services. They took the spin away over the summer and now no babysitting.A lot of people can't go w/out babysitting but they don't offer refunds. Save your time and go to another gym in the area.So happy to see other bad reviews
I've been a member for a few years now. Last year when I renewed my membership, I paid over $700 for a lifetime membership, and now pay a $20 plus tax fee every month. Imagine my insane rage when I got a flyer in the mail over the weekend offering a $15 a month membership, with a $29 sign-up fee. That's it. Good luck trying to get that rate if you're an existing member, that rate is for new members only says management, even though it doesn't even say that on the flyer.Great gym

Top of the line facility with affordable pricing!Cant beat it for the price

I now only pay $19.99 a month vs. 60.00. Although I miss the old gym model, you can not beat it for the price. The facility is immaculate and the equiptment is new....you will not find another gym in the area like it for the price! Not the place it used to be

My first choice would've been Lifetime fitness. No gym has come close to what they offer, however due to distance had to discontinue membership. I never considered Platinum Fitness, but with the redesign is more sophisticated looking and less of a male gym hang out. Pleasantly surprised with the improvements from when I last visited in few years ago. The only problem is that it seems to get busy and finding a machine can be tricky so going off hours is essential. If you're looking for 24 hour access with full amenities and I mean everything--consider Lifetime Fitness. Otherwise for $10/month--it's well worth the sacrifice. You get a work out in and not sure who else has that value out there.Worldwide > United States > Verona, NJ > Gyms and Fitness
