A true NJ experience

Pizza Town has been around since the 50's and I don't think they're upgraded the premises since. However, you're going to get the best zeppoles and calzones anywhere at Pizza Town. Their pie happens to be my favorite of any pizzeria. The crust and sauce are perfect for my taste buds. I love that they don't overdo the cheese. (Those who are extra-cheesers, you won't be satisfied with their pain pie.) And it's one of the last places around where you'll still find Grape Drink!

And since my husband and I were dating then, we have been going there that long. It's hard to resist it every time we come off the GS Parkway on our way home from RI. It's usually lunch time and we stop in for a couple of slices. It's just the way we like it, thin crust and lots of cheese.

best thin crust pizza in the area. The place to go for zeppoles. Roadside establishment has most likely not been upgraded in close to 40 years. Busy any time of day.

AMAZING pizza!

Ths place has the best pizza ever, period. Three generations of my family have grown up eating this pizza, clearly its been around for a while, and that's because its excellent. The actual building probably hasn't been updated since the time it opened but who cares!? It's a pizza place. It's kind of nice anyway to feel like you've stepped back in time.

Let me start by saying I'm full fledged Italian but these people are a disgrace to my nationality. They are rude and obnoxious. They act like they could care less if you are a customer or not. My wife asked the short stubby clown who runs the place if he could make some fresh zeppoles because the ones he had were like rubber and had been sitting there for a long long time. He not only refused but told her in front of other customers "take them the way they are or leave". He's a little smartass punk.
Not to mention the place is filthy, unsanitary and hasn't been updated since the 50's. People who treat their cutomers as they do shouln't be in business. Stay away from this dump, you deserve better.
I can't understand the people who posted here and say that filth and rudeness are part of the charm of this place. You just have no self respect.
On top of all the above the pizza isn't that good, I've had way better in places where they respect their customers.
