On a hunch, I thought this place might be good when I walked by it...I am a sucker for good pizza. So i grabbed their menu, and the next night, my mom and I ordered in...Excellent find! We ordered before peak hours, and our meal arrived...

Delicious pizza!
We bought a large vegetarian pizza there last week - and it was so incredibly delicious, that we bought another one the next day. Not only that, but the owner was very friendly and it's been a family business for many decades.

On a hunch, I thought this place might be good when I walked by it...I am a sucker for good pizza. So i grabbed their menu, and the next night, my mom and I ordered in...Excellent find! We ordered before peak hours, and our meal arrived in *under* 30 minutes...We were both impressed. We had a large pepperoni pizza, and she had a Chicken Marsala entree, which came with mixed salad or a choice of pasta . My mother's chicken was absolutely delicious, the salad was fresh and scrumptious, the sauce was great. the Spaghetti and pomodori sauce was fantastic, just the right kind of spicy. The pizza was out of this world. Gourmet brick oven style, but the crust was nice and thick, like I like, and chewy and delicious. the mozzarrella was excellent, the sauce was nice and spicy, and he thick cut pepperoni was superb. The rolls they sent along were also delicious and were excellent for mopping up the pomodori sauce. The total cost, with tip to the delivery man was just under $40, which is tremendous value. We are thrilled that we have now found our new Italian place in the neighborhood to order from, Thanks Pizza Shack!Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Pizza
