Best vietnamese!!!!
I live in the area and could eat at this restaurant once a week. The staff is friendly and food is great!!! I would recommend the pho, but all of the dishes I have had have been excellent. The service is extremely quick.i dig this place
i can't pretend to be particularly well-versed in vietnamese cuisine, so can't give you any insight on authenticity--but the food is TASTY... and fun. (you get to make your own rice paper wraps -- read the editorial review.) value is decent: you get healthy portions of healthy food--but the kicker thats makes this place really chill are the wait staff. they're courteous and capable and were totally nice about a friend and i waiting around without ordering anything for a whole hour as we waited for a third friend to show--even when we cut it really fine and ordered about 10 min before the kitchen closed. wow. that's what i call nice wait staff!Beware the Mai Tai
So yummy you drink it fast!pho-nomenally BAD!
Anyone who thinks Pho Lemongrass is authentic Vietnamese food has not tried real Vietnamese food. Being from Southern California (home of Little Saigon, the largest Viet community outside of Vietnam), I knew I was gonna be a tough critic when I walked in the door. But this place is inferior by ANY standard...the pho lacked flavor, tasted extremely bland, the peanut sauce tasted pasty and watered down, and the noodles tasted like Top Ramen. Unless you enjoy bland suburban food, skip this joint and go to Pho Pasteur instead!Great tasty Vietnamese
We had excellent food here for a cheap price. Definitely get the cubed steak stir friend with onions. Also the steamed fish is very good as well. This is a great place for groups.Quiet, Reasonable Place for Meeting with Friends
I can't comment too much about the authenticity of the food as I am not familiar with true Vietnamese cuisine, but I have been to Pho Lemongrass several times and have always had a pleasant experience. The food has been quite satisfactory: mango chicken and lemon chicken are my favorites. The spring rolls were yummy. They have a nice selection of mixed and frozen drinks, all priced very very reasonably. My favorite thing about this place, however, is the atmosphere. It is always very quiet and is my favorite place to bring friends when we want to get together and talk for awhile. The service is reasonable, not outstanding, but you never feel rushed. All the entrees are priced very reasonably. I think it's a good value. You feel like you've been out to a nice restaurant without spending more than $20 or $30 total.Yummy food!
This probably isn't 100% authentic Vietnamese food, but it's definitely tasty. The food is great, the decor is relaxing, and the service is awesome. I highly recommend this place.Worst service ever!!!
It seems that they are so concerned with making money that they overlook the experience quality of the customer. The WORST thing for me was when after we finished eating, they virtually threw us out just to sit the next party. When we complained about this treatment their argument was that they are only doing their job, and that I was basically wrong to argue with them.my favorite restaurant!
this place is fantastic. their food is amazing. the chicken pho is amazing and so addictive that my husband and i eat it several times a week at the restaurant or take out, the curry tofu or curry chicken with brown rice is another favorite and the spring rolls are crispy and delicious (my mouth is watering right now)...the drinks are also great - even try the frozen non-alcoholic ones! pho pasteur (now le's) cannot hold a candle to this place. i am disappointed every time i settle for other vietnamese. also, the staff here is very friendly and i have never (in the billion times i've been) had a bad experience.don't go
my friends and used to frequent this place often until we recently saw a small creature(roach) at our table. we will not be returning.bad customer service, poor pho and ok desert
The waiter just kept coming back to check on us...and I don't mean politely checking to see if u need any service, but to see if u r finished within a few minutes after our bowls arrived. My friend was very hungry so he basically drank the whole bowl of soup and pho in within minutes while I am still eating mine. Lo and behold, the waiter came over and took his bowl, then tried to take mine but realized I was eating, Next 2 minute, another waiter came again, trying to take mine but I told her I didnt finish which she should be able to tell from the full bowl of soup inside, even tho i put down my chopstick....thinking to finish later (its not that theres a lot of food ( the fact is that theres lots of soup but very few rice noodle etc) but I just wasnt trying to finish in one breath. Then again and again waiters came and tried to take it so finally i let them have it even tho I havent tried eating more after the first waiter tried to take it from me when I first put down the chopstickBad manager, bad food, bad experience
Dried mushrooms were undersoaked and still hard. Ice cubes tasted like bacteria or something. Dead flowers dropping petals all over table. No one fixes anything. Talked to manager, who said mushrooms are supposed to be chewy - I know the difference between a little chewy and undersoaked - and that water had lemon zest - I know the difference between lemon zest and a dirty refrigeration smell. Told the manager I would skip the mushrooms. Got billed for full meal with no apology. Something's wrong here.Worldwide > United States > Brookline, MA > Restaurants
