The Philadelphia Museum of Art has great programs for kids the first Sunday of every month. They offer a special topic and either a little movie, music, or story along with art projects.

Plenty of scheduled kids activities on various days. The art here is beautiful. With or without the kids, it is a wonderful experience. Plus running up the Rocky steps with the kids is always fun.

They offer fantastic kids classes on Friday afternoons and the weekend! Also, draw together is great on Sundays, the whole family can make art together for free! The gift shop has beautiful children's books!

this is one of my favorite museums I used to own a mebership there before my daughter came along I choose not to take her to view art she finds it boring

What a wonderful place! However, it's worth noting that they have changed their Sunday pay what you wish policy. It's now only on the First Sunday of every months.
