This pet shop cares about the pets they sell.

Often times when walking around the Grossmont Center shopping mall you will see people walking pooches around the mall. Petworks in the mall offers the opportunity for people to be Puppy Walkers and walk the dogs from the store. I myself have never been a puppy walker but from my understanding you need to leave your drivers license number with them so you can't steal the dog. It's nice that the dogs here can get some exercise as opposed to being in a cage until they are purchased. PetWorks also has little stalls where you can play with a puppy and see their personality before purchasing them.

They sell some items- toys, snacks, leashes- but their prices seem a little high compared to other places. It's still a great place to purchase a puppy or even stop by to walk one.

Pet Works

Pet Works is located right in the Grossmont Shopping Center. Every time I'm in this mall, i HAVE to stop by this store. It's so cute to see the little puppies through the glass windows. They're all so cute. Puppies here are expensive, but they're really just expensive everywhere. The best thing about this place, is that you can borrow the puppy and walk him/her around the mall! That's so cool!

Petworks, A VERY BAD PLACE!

Petworks, A VERY BAD PLACE!



We bought a puppy here at the end of September 2009, The puppy had a very bad urinary tract infection, We had to take her to the vet every week sometimes twice a week for over 2 months! While at the vet I met other puppy buyers, All their puppies had health problems way more severe than a urinary tract infection, I guess my puppy was lucky.



We have not recieved the paper work for our puppy, it's not AKC, it's something else, they say it's just as good as AKC registration, it's not, but anyway, we have called them on several occasions, about the registration papers, last time it was about 3 weeks ago, We were told they were trying to figure out where they were?? I called today I spoke with a manager,(Fonda) she said she had proof the papers were mailed on November 23, I was trying to tell her we called weeks ago, why didn't someone say anything about it then? I told her my phone calls are logged and I could prove we did call and how long the call last

Puppies abused by walkers

It's NOT cute to see small children dragging these defenseless puppies around the mall.
I've seen them stepped on, fall off benches, legs yanked backward when the lease tangled and pulled on the HOT pavement!
If Petworks cared at all about their puppies, they would hire an adult dog walker or have their employees walk them.
These puppies have had a rough start in life....
imagine born in a cage, taken away from mom too early, shipped in a truck with other frightened puppies, handled at the store and window for sale.
I think that these walks do more harm then good.

PUPPY MILL STORE!!! Dog lover Reviews

DO NOT SHOP THERE, THE PUPPIES MY LOOK CUTE, BUT NOT WHERE THEY COME FROM. THEY GET THEIR PUPPIES FROM PUPPY MILLS. GO TO GOOGLE AND SEARCH prisonersofgreed TO LEARN ABOUT THIS. THEY SAY THEY DONT GET PUPPIES FROM THERE BUT ITS SOO NOT TRUE. DO NOT SHOP FROM THEIR STORE. I HEARD OF MANY PEOPLE PUPPIES THEY BOUGHT FROM PET WORKS, THEY DIED OF PARVOVIRUS, HEART WORMS, AND OTHER.
