Sparklers are better than candles!!
I was looking for an alternative to regular party candles for an upcoming event and they have number sparklers at this store! I couldn't find them anywhere else, and I love the fact that Party On has specialty items like this, along with the usual party store stuff that you'd expect to find anywhere. Also, with it being connected to two other party-type stores you can accomplish a lot at once, but the inflated costs better suited to Beverly Hills boutiques is always disappointing. The selection of speciality candies is great, and the variety of personal and handmade cards are wonderful.

Incompetent and Rude - Can't do Simple math
Where do they find their unskilled and rude, incompetent employees - from the person who took my order on the phone to the idiot who was there when I picked them up to the lady who can't do math?

Terrible Customer Service
The store is overcrowded with stuff that doesn't seem to move or sell. I agree with many people that they are overpriced and customer service is always bad. The gift wrap service is unfriendly as the employees try to pretend to do other things to prevent making eye contact. You feel ignored and the products in stock can be found elsewhere much quicker and cheaper. I work in the corporate world and my collegues also feel the same way about the high priced products and we just can't figure out the hype about this place.

I love this store
I got my wedding invitations from this store. I thought this process would be a hassle but the staff was very knowledgeable and eased the process along. I was even able to find presents for my bridal party and decorations for my bridal shower all in the same visit. The prices are a little higher than what you would find on the internet but the one on one time with the staff at this mom & pop type store was worth the extra money.

Children with attitudes
Ordering some Balloons I noticed that the guy taking my order was Highhow can a place like this permit these kinds of people running the store.They avoid eye contact and seem to think no one notices their rude attitude.I will no longer shop there and I urge the owner to look into the idiots that handle his store.

great variety one stop shop
I had a good experience there. I have been there several times and have had varied levels of service. The best service seems to be during the day. I love the variety of product they have. the prices seem to be in line with other shops in the area. It's in a high rent area. I hate going to the Bev center or malls. I highly disagree with some of the other comments.

Dentist's aren't the only ones pulling teeth!
This place hires the WORST help! The young girl at the desk was not very excited to assist me. I asked her if they carried a particular product and she firmly said NO and referred me to Staples (who by the way would Never carry this item). So, since I did see some pretty wrapping paper and gift items I decided to browse around and sure enough...They DID have the item I was looking for. She seemed put off to ring me up and did not offer an apology. I will never go back. Pretty paper or not! From the previous reviews I would also urge the owners to take a good look at their hiring as well!

OMG OMFG!!!!! THIS PLACE IS SOOO AWESOME!!!!
First of all I have to say that all the negative reviews I saw before this are a big load of hooey!!! And all the positive ones are more accurate. I went to Party on looking for just the right wrapping paper and they had sooo much to choose from and it was so beautiful. I bought the paper that was way better than what I originally thought to get. But forget the great selection and the never ending supply of quality fun stuff they had....I was most impressed by the service, everyone was smiling and nice. They were totally attentive and were very polite, I especially liked one girl named Michelle, she was the sweetest little thing on this earth. She made my experience there very pleasing and fun. I was so stressed out before because I didn't know what to choose and she just soothed my nerves. Another great thing about this place was the at home feel of shopping there. Very nice. I just went into what was Party On La Cienega, The Good Life, and Wrap Scissors Paper. Wow, was I surprised! The gift department is really beautiful. It looks like a European gift boutique. Everything looks so different, including the front. It is now called PartyPaperLife, and they just went online with PartyPaperLife.com. They've made the gift wrap and stationery area a lot bigger.

Everything looks so different, including the front. It is now called PartyPaperLife, and they just went online with PartyPaperLife:Worldwide > United States > Los Angeles, CA > Party & Event Planning
