Family favorite
This is the supermarket my family visits the most. It is close to us and carries the widest selection of all the asian supermarkets in our area. They have a meat section, seafood section, fruits and vegetables section, bakery, and even a place where you can buy cooked pork made asian style for a reasonable price. This is truly an all-in-one store. They are cheaper than American supermarkets but also dirty and have poor service. Most people won't be needing assistance, however. I buy many asian snacks (shrimp chips, squid jerky) that I can't buy in normal supermarkets.

I Can't Believe People Aren't Lined Out The Door!!
We are regulars at Pamela's. I just found this site. Pamela's have been around quite a long time and just recently underwent a total remodel and they will be open for dinner very soon with beer, wine, TV's everywhere, and already have electrical and wifi set up for those working lunches involving computers. Try the skillet meals, or chicken fried steak breakfast (my favorite). Out of a like, 10 page menu, there is something for everyone. The staff is unique and so very friendly and attentive. They are one of the few restaurants that actually open for Christmas to serve their clientele. We love 'em, so will you!

Bring your appetite and the whole family to Pamela's. You will get great service that is friendly. The food when it comes is of great portions. You have much to choose from on the menu. Watch for Pamela who may come and chat with you. She is very warm and friendly.

Truly the Best Kept Secret on the Eastside
Pamela's has been a destination cafe on the Eastside for our family. It has gone through a lot of changes lately. They have totally remodeled and now have even more than just great food at good prices! We can hardly wait til it is finished. Pamela's has always been unique. For such a large restaurant they have managed to keep it cozy and friendly. Customers are everything to them and they excel at really fast, good service. They have a 10 page menu! Something for everybody. They can accomodate families with kids or the most serious business meeting. On their menu, they tell us that there will be free high speed internet, t.v.s stategically placed all over, and a computer for business meetings that can take advantage of their office suite applications on the big tv monitor. The food is down home good and we have never been disappointed.

Best chicken enchiladas I've ever had!
I went in on a day that they were having chicken enchiladas as the special. I wished I was a food critic for a well known newspaper or magazine because I want to share the news that these enchiladas are outstanding! And I am a picky eater. I called the owner, Pamela Hahn, and she said that they are in the middle of making a new menu and the enchiladas will be featured on the new menu as an every day item soon. As for me they're classified as a "favorite" not only at Pamela's Eastside Cafe but as a favorite considering any meal you can get in the whole city of San Jose.Worldwide > United States > San Jose, CA > Fast Food Restaurants
