Opus Restaurant is elegant.
In the Renaissance Hotel. Very elegant entrance. The food is good to very good but you're paying a little extra for the elegance. A very nice upscale bar right across the lobby.

Opus Restaurant is usually good.
I have eaten at Opus twice. It was really good the first time, and not as good the second time. The place is beautiful. The staff was nice. The prices are high.

Opus has the feel of an intimate get-away for being a restaurant in a hotel. And the food is wonderful!

This Place Can't Get Any Better!!!
My wife and I live approx. 90 miles from Pittsburgh in a backward, horrible little town. When we need refreshed we take a weekend trip to The Renaissance and we dine at Opus. I give this place my highest accolades. I have been to some of the finest hotel's and restaurant's in this great country and I can say with absolute certainity this is one of the 10 best. This place is everything you could ever want for a get-away weekend. The staff of this hotel and restaurant are the finest anywhere and they will make you feel like the president. On a scale of 1 to 10 it rates a 42.

Absolute Wonderful Dining Experience!
For a "girls night out" (my 2 daughters and I) we had tickets to see a show at the Byham and decided to eat at a non-fast food restaurant before hand. For convenience sake, since it is right next door, we went in. The menu was a little more than moderately priced, but since it was a special night - we obliged. From the host, to the waitress, to every other employee there, it was a wonderful experience! And the food...exquisite! The atmosphere was pleasantly delightful - it will be a memory for my daughters and I to cherise for a lifetime!
