Awesome Place!
I actually workout at the Church St gym but frequent the Broad St gym a couple of times during the week. I have been with Olympus a year ago October and am grateful that someone referred me. If you are looking for a place where you can...No wait
The workers are friendly and the gym equitment is in excellent shape. I would go in the morning so I would not have to wait to get on anything. Most of the time in the afternoon you had no wait. Plus the price is the best that I have found.Great place to workout. Bad place to work. No Loyalty
I worked my butt off at the gym for the last few years bringing the old gym up to par then ran the construction at the new gym along with all the work I did, then get to the finish only to be told... I can't afford to pay you. Here it is 2 months later and still can't pay me. So when your told (I'll take care of ya) by Sean make sure you get it in writing. You can ask anyone in the gym (employee / member) about me and you will be told the new gym on Church St. could of never opened without me and that I was a vital part of the Gym.Best Gym in the Boro.
i have been a member at olympus for several years now. it is by far the most well run and cleanest clubs i have ever been in. as far as the negative review above im sure that any past employee that did not leave on good terms will have negative comments about the club. the entire staff is very helpful and will go out of there way to help me or any other member. i feel that i have gotten more than my moneys worth. just thought i would give a members opinion.Best gym
I love this gym and it is the only gym I have stuck with for almost a year now. Not only am I getting my money worth but I also like my body better too. Can't get enough of this place, I love it!You get what you pay for!
I have belonged to 5 different gyms in almost a 30 year time span--2 local independent gyms and 3 national. Olympus is the only gym I have ever had a problem with. I should have known when I checked out the place that it was NOT geared for adults looking to enhance their overall health--none of the other gyms I belonged to promoted tanning beds! If you are a teenager or young adult male (females are definitely at a disadvantage here) only interested in your physical appearance and low monthly rate, join this place. If you are truly interested in working out in a SAFE and healthy environment, join one of the other gyms in M'Boro. Olympus is definitely more interested in the QUANTITY of members it gets instead of the QUALITY they offer.Awesome Place!
I actually workout at the Church St gym but frequent the Broad St gym a couple of times during the week. I have been with Olympus a year ago October and am grateful that someone referred me. If you are looking for a place where you can actually get help, this is your place. If you are looking for a place that cares about you and your well being, this is your gym. I can't say enough how wonderful Dustin, Jessica, Kevin and Jeff are. I consider these people my friends more than trainers or employees of this gym. The group exercise with Jessica is awesome! She gets the job done with a kind, compassionate heart. I am in a Biggest Loser contest at work and am actually in first place out of 94 people. It's because of the Lord, this gym, the kindness and generosity of the staff that I am one step closer to my fitness goals. I have never tried any of the other gyms in Murfreesboro because I am happy where I am at. The gym is clean and does not have that "meat market" feel that I was so leery about and the cheap membership is just an added plus. I can't say enough about this gym and the people who work there. I would refer anyone there and do.Dissappointment
Sean runs a decent club. Adequate equipment, clean, and economically priced. However, was very dissappointed that he recently removed "The Rutherford Reader" rack. He caved to a small group of lefties that are trying to stiffle free speech. It's not fair to put Olympus in the middle because they are just trying to make a living, but if the membership were asked I'm sure more people liked the paper than disliked it.Best Gym Ever!
