I would NOT recommend Ohio valley pain manegment to anyone unless they are 50+ years old. Personally I would not recommend Dr Koresh(sp) to anyone. Why? Lies. I have a herniated disc, spinal stenosis, degenerative bone/disc disease. I made an appointment. I saw this "Physician" and went there and was 100% honest. I told him about all my prescription meds. I also told him that my pain was so bad that my mother gave me a 5mg methadose pill because she was so concerned about my condition. I was in very bad pain and could not get off the couch. I brought a pain journal of EVERY Doctor, every medicine, my pain scale etc. This journal was kept for TWELVE years. He didn't even want to look at it. Now, I know that taking my moms pain med was wrong, however he said; "Well we don't prescribe pain meds on the first visit and you took your moms med, what we can do is schedule you for steroid injections". I said; "Ill try anything to help with this pain. Its taking over my life." So, he knew my med history, knew all the strong pain meds I took in the past AND knew about the Methadose. The following week I drive an hour and a half to a further location to get the injections. I was a block away when called the office and they said: "B/C of your urine screen (methadose, which he knew took) and my past med history, my app was cancelled and I was terminated from the clinic. I then spoke to the director who said she would speak to her director. No phone call back. Why did he even schedule this app when I was honest and he knew everything? I was NOT looking for narcotics. I was looking for help. They lied. They flat out lied and had the nerve to call me a half hour before my appointment. I give this Dr 0 stars and 0 for Ohio valley pain Management. Honesty got me no where. By the way, have NEVER been terminated from a pain clinic nor a PCP and have NEVER abused drugs. Shame on this clinic and shame on this "Physician". Please read this and understand.
