Best Ever
Nugget is by far the best grocery store that I have ever been in. Their produce and meat is always tops. They have a vast cheese, wine, and bread section. You can tell they pay more attention to putting out quality products than most other chain grocery stores. The build your own sandwich bar is always really popular; you can choose from a huge amount of breads and meats to make up your sandwich. Their Chinese food isnt the greatest, but in the afternoon and late at night it is half off.

Since everything is expensive here in Davis, you might as well get your money's worth. Nugget has by far the desserts, prepared takeout and breads that any other nearby supermarket has to offer. Although, this is more of an upscale market with the prices to show you can't beat the service that is offered to each customer.

Nugget is awesome. . everyone here keeps on talking about this Davis inflation and I have no idea what the hell they're talking about, compared to other specialty grocery stores like Trader Joe's, Nugget's prices are competitive. . .and they always stock high quality food. . .

I love Nugget. I think it has everything a grocery store should have. I rarely have to do my shopping elsewhere as most items I need can be found here (discounting very specific products like miso base etc.) for cheap prices. Nugget also has a deli, Chinese express (which isn't that amazing), sushi (good prices), and an amazing bakery with to die for bread. Buy the bread!
