Good Place To chill
NPCC, as it is known by the college students, is a great place to get a good cup of coffee or a beer and read. The art on the walls and the music events are also a plus.

GREAT OPEN MIC - Under 21 Okay!
Live Music, Art and more...Nice Coffee House...espresso, sandwiches, wine, beer, games, books and more. Good place for that under age date, or any age! Just a block, or so, off Pacific Avenue and near PLU (Pacific Lutheran University). NOTE: Want Pacific-Italian or Cajun Food? Two of the BEST HIDDEN RESTAURANTS in Tacoma are just a stroll down the block.

Nice Coffee House..Great place to go for cofee, food, sandwiches, wine, beer, and books. The books on the wall are great. Just down the road from PLU, and it is the place to hang out and meet new people. Nice place.

this place is pretty bad. The sandwiches are very overpriced because they call their sliced-up ham "american-style prosciutto" and charge about 200-300% on their alcohol. The ice-cream always seems melted and has flies all around it. Vapid college students staff the place and get your coffee and food orders wrong. Most weekend nights there are awful amateur bands there that relish in their unrefined sound like some sort of a karaoke bar, except they are serious and no one is drunk or laughing. This place always draws in the 1st year PLU students, after a year of buying 8.99$ sandwiches and 5.99$ coffees most of them have to mortgage their dorm room and eat at 1$ chinese food instead.Worldwide > United States > Tacoma, WA > Cafes, Coffee, and Coffee Houses
