Great yoga classes, given by Synergy yoga which is on South Beach. Not a ton of classes and they change frequently. But great instructors in a lovely yoga studio. There is also a gym and full spa at Nirvana. They sometimes often prenatal yoga.

Ladies, for your sake. , please stay away from this place. i cannot call it a spa because it is not. its a dirty, old fashioned place full of people that are disrespectful and barely speak english. the manager and owner were both rude and unhelpful when i tried to file a complaint. Bottom line is that its dirty and the services are of very low quality. Nirvana is a big NO NO!

Don't go
This is a co-ed spa which is a big turn off. Fat hairy men are not my idea of a relaxing day at the spa. The steam room was spooky because men are staring at you through the steam. There is no noise ordinance so people hold loud conversations at inappropiate times. There was hair in the shower floors. It had an awful scent that smelled moldy/musty like wet body odor. It never felt or looked clean. There was too much activity. The massage was too hard and didn't seem like they were giving you the length of time you paid for. It was not AT ALL how I imagined it to be and I only followed through with the services because I had a gift certificate. I would not recommend this spa. Oh and did I mention how overpriced it is? By the time I checked out my bill was $300! Good God! Avoid at all costs.

Grounding at Nirvana in Miami Beach
Wow. I should have written this review 3 years ago when I discovered Nirvana Spa at HoJo with a group of "Blooming Roses" that I took there for a weekend retreat! I have since visited both Hotel and Spa frequently since then, and have so much rave about it. I have also been self discovering and found that it was genius to locate the spa in the basement area of the hotel, I have no tecqnical proof that the place is grounded, although the way that I feel when I am there is full proof. I have noticed lately in the last few weeks that there are rrenovations going on there. Yeah. that is fine, although I believe that the spa is perfect! I am personally endorsing the experience to the GOOD. I also notice that the price has changed. That is also ok. I will, however; mention that it is more important to renovate the service of staff, more so than the environment. The staff seem sometimes disconnected to what a customer is truly there for. I realize that for alot of workers, times may seem hard right now, although the "Attitude of Gratitude" is a must for work hours at such a great spa. Lack and Limitation, attitudes can ruin the bottom line purpose of relaxation and rejuvenation that a customer comes for. Relax and Release is so important at such a place as the Fantastic "Nirvana Spa" offers. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all that came up with the concept. I truly love the place! Again, customer service for Local and out of Towners is the priority. Communication is key. Please do not change it so much. The difference in price is fine, the difference in service is not. Also, cleaning is key. I noticed that the staff either cannot or will not speak, Miami has a great Salsa/American flavor; its great; although is needed in the spa there. We all need a place like Nirvana to rejuvenate, renew and relax. Thank God for the place. I have also visited Canyon Ranch's Spa; and found that the feeling is not as close to the source of power at all. Nirvana Spa Rocks!
