Good pizza
Not sure if this is the right one, but they seems to all be related. Little Napoli and Flying Napoli (both on westheimer) have some of the best authentic pizzas in town - reminds me of NYC pizza stands, only these places are also sit down restaurants with other fare on the menu. I always get pizza for takeout.outstanding italian hangout
I first tried this place after moving into the neighborhood two months ago. It has the feel of a family owned pizza place. The service is fast and friendly. But the star of the show is their red sauce. It is thick and spicy. I had their sausage sub and it was on really french bread with lots of sauce and covered with cheese. It was excellent!Divine!
My friends will make the drive from the Med Center for this pizza! The smell of pizza baking will make you drop to you knees when you walk through the door. Order ahead so you can have immediate gratification. Seating can be limited. If this is NY style pizza, I'm the Queen of England
godawful! How can anyone seriously call this tasteless, underccooked excuse of a pizza "authentic New York style" ?? Ordered delivery, took them 40 min to deliver to a house literally one minute away. It arrived cold with a side of surly delivery man. The pizza itself has so little cheese & sauce (completely devoid of taste) you can see through to the crust. All the veggie toppings were raw & the crust! yuck! nothing but the taste of cinders. I can't believe I paid $20 for this crapFlew right into my mouth
Judging by the parking lot I figured this place must be pretty popular and decided to try it out. I walked in and wondered where are the people were hiding. They definitely weren't all inside. I ordered anyways from the large selection of Italian dishes and waited for my food. The staff was cordial and I had my order fairly quickly. I tried the New York style meat pizza with extra meat added to it (per my dad) and it was good. The classic 80s line "Where's the Beef?" quickly popped to mind though. If this was double meat then I'd hate to see regular meat. However, it still tasted good. My order was the Eggplant Parmigiana sub. I took a few bites and was immediately disappointed. It was mostly bread with thin slices of eggplant and cheese. I ate almost half before I realized the sauce was wrapped separately. I added the sauce and bam the sub was immediately much closer to being awesome. The sauce was excellent and I ate some with left over pizza crust as well. I just wish the sandwich had more to it though.Worldwide > United States > Houston, TX > Restaurants
