No chair side manner at all!
I went to this dentist for about a year or so, but should have found another sooner. The office was very nice and even though it was recommended by a co-worker, when it comes to dentistry I was disappointed. They seem to recommend procedures that were unnecessary (I was told later by another dentist), I had a filling break in less than a year and a half and the staff was a bit self centered. No chair side manner at all.

Moved on to somewhere better
I also went to this location only to have them drill the wrong tooth causing an additional crown. They said I would have no charge yet I was forced to pay the lab fee for making the crown. They should have at the very least covered that but they refused. Needless to say I have moved on to a competent dentist.

Don't use groups!
Group dentists are notorious for recommending or even requiring unnecessary work before they’ll fix a problem. I had some sensitivity on a molar and went in for an exam and was told that I was grinding my teeth and that I had to buy some $300 mouth guard. I was pretty certain I didn’t grind my teeth so I went to a real dentist and sure enough, this wasn’t the case. This group is bad about chastising people if they’re behind on scheduled cleanings and they’re often rude and condescending.

Used Car Salesmen of the Dental World
Rose Dental Group, in Round Rock and Austin Texas, are the used car salesmen of the dental world. Went in for a cleaning, and they came up with a Treatment Plan of over $2800 that they said I needed, and they give you an attitude if you seem resistant. When I had time to schedule an appointment, and go back to my home town dentist 6 months later, it's a 1 dentist practice, I had x-rays, my teeth cleaned and a filling that had come partially out redone with bonding work to match the tooth color for about $200 with my insurance, and he said that was all the work I really needed done.

Don't trust their quotes !!!
I had been seeing Dr. Chappel for a couple of years. He was always very friendly, but they do always seem to tell you that you need something done everytime you go in..Worldwide > United States > Round Rock, TX > Dentists
