Great food
Locals know this as the best place to go for Mexican food for lunch. The fideo special is absolutely delicious! The staff is very friendly with plenty of seating. Area is a little sketchy.

Good, standard Mexican food
Have been going here for many, many years. Good, basic Mexican food-it has the real thing (not an Americanized version of Mexican food such as that found in Mexican chains). Not much atmosphere. Just a good version of Mexican "comfort" food-the type that your mother would make if she was Mexican (and a good cook)! Service is adequate but sometimes inattentive-asking for more water, salsa, etc is not unusual.
