My children take classes here and have really learned how to draw and paint. They love the classes and the teachers are very caring and knowledgeable.

how to draw and paint successfully
Larry Gluck has truly created an institution that produces results in traditional fine art classes. Since I enrolled about 6 months ago I actually learned how to draw with control and precision as they say. I strongly recommend this school if you are interested in fine art drawing and painting. Their art classes are easy to learn in and you feel right at home. Their method of teaching is really a breakthrough. They step you through the process and provide you with the knowledge to do what many think they need natural inate talent to do. I can now draw like the people I thought were born with talent, but the reality is they had the knowledge that I did not, well NOW I DO! If you have an interest in art I recommend this school.

Great Art Classes
My 5 year old son is taking art classes at Larry Gluck Mission Renaissance. The studio instructors teach the Gluck method of art education, which begins with basic line drawing and proceeds to more challenging levels of drawing and painting. The method stresses that anyone can learn to draw and paint and that talent can be developed. The caring and highly trained instructors individually teache each child the ABCs of art. Students, as young as 5, begin gaining a solid foundation in drawing techniques. Using a charcoal pencil and pastels, students learn to build a drawing through the use of simple shapes and how to create colorful, 3-dimensional effects, resulting in their finished work looking life-like. This place is truely incredible my son loves it and looks foward to art class every week.

If you really want to learn and draw beautifully this is the place
I love coming to art class, y only regret is that I started at such a late age! They are no nonsense when it comes to teaching tus, there is no "if it feels good then do it" nonsense here, they will teach you the exact fundamentals and basics for both drawing and painting and make you drill it over and over until you can do it.
