Mission Inn Restaurant
Long standing business with kid friendly menu and even kids eat free night. Standard Mexican fare, check out the fajati's served hot and sizzling. Homemade salsa and chips to munch while checking their menu. This is NOT Mexican Food
I have had a great deal of experience with Mexican food, and this is not it. The options are very "American" and their "hot" salsa is NOT! Overall, the food was bizarre and not very good. Our service was perfunctory at best. The good news is that you don't pay much for this disservice. Of course, most good Mexican restaurants don't cost much, so this really isn't much of a selling point. I am hoping there is better Mexican fare somewhere in Colorado Springs.Nice Local Spot
With all the chains from one end of Academy to the other, my husband and I seek out small local spots instead. Mission Inn is one of our favorites. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food is excellent. With regard to the negative review and the hot sauce, there are two different kinds. One is mild and just right for me. My husband likes it hot, and the chunkier salsa is great for him. Try the Mission Inn - you'll be glad you drove past the chains and ate at this locally owned spot that has been around for most of my 30+ years anyway...AWFUL
the worst restaurant I have ever been to. beans were cold, chips were out of a bag, fajita meat was seasoned with montreal seasoning, the whole place was dirty. every time i think about this restaurant i want to throw up, taco bell would have been better.i was so disappointed i did not want to pay our billIt made me sick
We went on 8/13/06. It was so bad I litterly got sick to my stomach. The bean dip was canned beans. The salsa tasted like Ragu sauce and the chips were out of a bag. The tacos we burnt and had hamburger with NO seasoning and cheese melted on it. The rice had no taste at all. I don't know how this place can stay in business. I will never go back!Where is the mexican flavor?!
Well I just don't understand why it is so hard to make good mexican food. You have to use good mexican spices. Store bought chips! Come on!!! Do not use stuff from a can! Even the margarita was watered down to hide the cheap tequilla.Worldwide > United States > Colorado Springs, CO > Restaurants
