My water heater went out on March 12, 2012. The service fee was $45.00. I had to get a new pilot and some wiring which came up to $172. Today my water heater went out again which it is just a litte over 3 months since the tech came out. The guy told me that for him to come back out the service charge is now $89.00. I asked him why would I have to pay another service fee since he just fixed the heater in March, and why is the fee now doubled? He said everyone else raised their prices, so he had to raise his price as well. My fee should be waived or even reduced. I have a year warranty on my parts; therefore, he is still trying to make additional money off me. He clearly is trying to rip off his customers.
