Camille rocks!
I consider myself to be pretty picky when it comes to my hair. Since moving to Austin 4 years ago, I'd bounced around from salon to salon, that is, until I found Camille Brower at method hair. She is hands-downs the best stylist I have ever been to. Not only is she extremely competent and creative, she will work patiently with you to figure out the best style for you, without ever pressuring. Plus, she is just so darn personable that I always feel like I've just spent an hour with my best friend. You can't beat getting a hip haircut without the hip attitude!

Very Unprofessional, dissapointing experience
I think the stylists who work here are very talented and they did a decent job with my hair. However the overall experience was ver dissapointing. They seem more concerned wth what they want to do with their "art" than what the client actually wants. In addition, not only was my appointment double booked, which they didnt bother to let me know until it was too late, when I finally did reschedlue my stylist strolled in 15 minutes late sipping on a latte--this is really annoying since I was her first appointment of the day--whats the excuse here? To top it all off the price I was charged was not even close to what I had been quoted and the stylist didn't seem to care one bit. This was after I had purchased neraly $100 in product, mind you! This whole experience made it quite evident that the folks at Method clearly care only about themselves and not the satisfaction of thier customers. Sorry to tell you but last I checked talent does not make up for good business practices and the business sense of this place is virutlaly non existent. Not worth my troubles and I definitely won't be referring my friends to this place.

BEST SALON EVER!! Camille B. is AMAZING!!!
I am *extremely* picky about my hair, and am rarely pleased with the results of my haircuts - but that all changed the day I met Camille Brower! I followed Camille from Avant (the Aveda salon downtown), where she used to work, to Method Hair - and she is the only person I've let touch my hair for over 2 years now.

Don't believe the naysayers...I LOVE MY METHOD
i had an amazingly cool and professional experience at Method Hair.Relaxing, unpretentious and real, no divas from what I experienced. Jeremy is a seasoned colorist that gave me the best highlights of my life.and has a great chair side manner.i think its a shame some people have a bad day and decide to take it out here on someone else.I'm almost offended that my new salon I have found got less than perfect comments. Method is real, and a nice place to end a day with a glass of wine and a head message.with very professional service.....SO POO ON YOU THE NAYSAYERS,PULL ON YOUR BIG GIRL SHORTS.

Best Haircut Ever from Jeromy
I went to Jeromy at Method Hair after reading a lot of reviews on various sites for stylists in Austin. I had very long hair, and I was finally ready to cut a great deal of it off. It was a big step, but after my experience at Method, I had certainly made the right decision. Jeromy gave me the best haircut of my life. I have extra straight hair with a fine texture, but I have a lot of it. Jeromy was able to transform it from a submissive style, it just lay there, to a vibrant, electric do that I can wear with little care, which fits my less fuss is more lifestyle. The salon itself is comfortable and friendly and the other staff are willing to take care of you while waiting for your appointment. It is classy without being stuffy and professional without an elitist air. The free bangs trims and good coffee are also a nice touch. And while Jeromy is my main man, I enjoyed watching the other stylists at work. From my observation, everyone that leaves Method looks superb, with hairstyles that seem to match their styles and personalities. Triumphant!

Go to Jeromy for color
Jeromy is a wonderful colorist for blond hair. He colored my hair for about 7 years and then I moved to San Antonio. The final result is beautiful, more natural looking highlights. If you want to bleach out your whole head or do something really extreme, he is NOT the colorist for you. There was another mom at my kid's school in Kyle, TX who had beautiful highlights. I'm very picky and I have to admit that I don't usually see a blond head of hair that I really love. So I compliment her and guess what? JEROMY had done her color! What a shock that someone else in Kyle, TX went to East Austin for color. I followed Jeromy from shop to shop several times until he opened Method Hair. I have to admit that I miss the smaller shop atmosphere. I didn't really fit in with the Method Hair scene but I'd go anywhere for color that good. I live in San Antonio now and the colorists that I've tried have charged twice as much and have been half as talented! Sigh.

Professional people, wonderful hair
When I walked into Method, I was immediately greeted, checked-in, and offered something to drink. I had to wait a few minutes because I was early, but was not at all bored because the place is very unconventional. It was very much like sitting in a trendy art gallery.

Love my new do!!!
Cant say enough good things about Method. I absolutely love this salon. Everyone is incredibly talented, customer service is exceptional. Always a smile on everyones face! My color / cut by Sarah Stratham is always super! The salon even called me to come in once bc the stylists came up with a new cut they thought I would love to rock. And yes, it rocks!Worldwide > United States > Austin, TX > Hair Salons
