Good Stuff... Great Atmosphere
We were on our way to Nashville for a romantic weekend and stopped in Franklin. We loved the pastries and breads. The atmosphere in the place was a lot of fun too. We will definitely be back.Great Bakery
This is the best bakery in Franklin, Tn. They also have a great lunch and other breakfast foods, but their pastries are the best. They have a delicious fruit punch and the personnel at the business were very nice. The restaurant has a home-town feel and is always clean every time I have been there.LOVE
This is my absolute favorite bakery in the entire WORLD. I've been going here for 18 years and if it ever closes I'll never stop crying! This is the kind of bakery that makes you think of Mrs. Clause cooking for Santa. Their soup and sandwiches are heavenly and the sticky buns just melt in your mouth. I love everything about this place!Love it!
I visited Meridee's years ago without an idea of what to expect. I just ordered a chicken salad, not expecting anything great. However, I was surprised because it was one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I've eaten. Great location, great restaurant, definitely worth it.Awesome!
Merridee's is one of the gems of Downtown Franklin in my book. It has great food and is a welcomed change from the typical restaurant or deli. I love their oatmeal bread and their french toast is to die for!Vanilla Latte heaven!
Great pastries, espresso and one of the best Vanilla Latte's I've ever had! Last week, my husband met the lead singer from the band Ambrosia!! You never know who you'll meet!!Awesome
We saw a piece on Meridee's on the Food Network, and since we just moved to Nashville, we thought we would check it out. All I can say is yum. The best brownies we ever had. Many different kinds. We sampled Heavenly Hash, Peanut Butter, Mint chocolate, and Chocolate Rasberry, just to name a few. Their cookies were delicious. The have bread, cakes, and pies. I definitely recommend it! The prices were very reasonable.Great sandwiches
This is a nice little place to eat; their pastries are to die for (try the cinnamon rolls!) and their sandwiches are delicious. The ultimate club is my favorite.Best Key Lime Pie
Being new to town, my husband and I took a recomendation to eat at Merridee's while we were exploring Franklin, Tn. We had their Daily Special Favorite - sandwich on their delicious breads, chips, and a slice of pie (they change daily). On that visit they had Key Lime and my husband loved it. Won't be hard to please him on a special day like a birthday or Father's day - I'll just buy him a whole one for his very own. It was that good! Great service too - and all with a smile and a "thank you".Wonderful little place for coffee and lunch!
Merridee's is our favorite place to go on a cold day for hot coffee and a fresh lunch. Their soups and sandwiches are prepared to perfection, and the staff is friendly. We LOVE it!Good place
I am not terribly impressed with the food, although the soups are worth trying. I go for the sweets and breads. I love the oat bread and all the different brownies. It gets too crowded for lunch and sometimes breakfast. I prefer to go earlier in the day. Kids do not give the best service, and I can actually find a seat.please offer online ordering
I called and placed a $60 takeout order for the weekend, my second order in a week. I am planning on being a regular customer. I want a loaf of sour cream bread. The man on the phone says there isn't any. I walk in and there it is. I order 2 mint fudge, 2 coconut fudge, and 2 heavenly hash brownies. The man on the phone says there are no coconut fudge brownies. I go in and there they are. The man on the phone says they do have mint fudge brownies. I go in and there they are...not. The guys working in the bakery ask me if I want coconut fudge instead of the mint. Ok, so I get what I think are 2 coconut fudges. I ordered 2 lemon bars. I ordered French toast and biscuits and gravy. I get home and root around in the sack of brownies and peek in the other bags and don't see the lemon bars. I reluctantly call the bakery; I hate doing things like this. The man on the phone sounds defensive and abruptly says he packed the lemon bars himself with the chicken sandwiches (as opposed to being in the sack with the brownies HELLO?). I go through the sack with the chicken sandwiches; there they are at the bottom puny as vanilla wafers under the chicken sandwiches. My bad. But honestly they were so tiny and how many folks would think to check under the chicken salad sandwiches when you have a sack full of brownies they should go in? I also asked where were the heavenly hash brownies then while I was rooting around under the chicken salad sandiwiches it occurred to me maybe just maybe the brown and black brownies I thought were peanut butter fudge were heavenly hash. And they were. My fault again. But I did not order 4 coconut fudge brownies. I wanted 2 coconut and 2 mint. My brownie order was totally screwed up. Oh well. HOWEVER, the heavenly hash brownies were delicious, the coconut fudge brownies were OK, the lemon bars were fantastic even though they were itty bitty, the sour cream bread was pretty good, the French toast stuffed with cream cheese was DIVINE. I did not get biscuits and gravy for me, but my partner says they were some of the best he ever had. So I will still be a regular customer. It would be nice if a couple of the people who worked in there could be a little friendlier. They leave you standing around like an idiot, too. And there are no labels or prices on most of the food; it is hard to figure out what you want. They promote takeout ordering on their website. I would strongly suggest online ordering as well; that way, everything is easier, and there is no confusion.Worldwide > United States > Franklin, TN > Bakeries
