Very big mall!
I really enjoy visiting this antique mall. There is a awful lot of walking, a lot of vendors, but that just means more items, more treasures. You really never know what you will find. Some stuff is over priced- really overpriced, but not all. My family has been lucky enough to have found some nice pieces here. You just never know!Take your cell phone with you.
This place is huge. I am not joking and if you enjoy browsing through antiques then you can quite easily spend half a day here. Many Separate Rooms at the Lyons Head
If you are looking for cheap nick nacks, I wouldn't bother. But if you want quality 40 to 100 year old furniture and decorative items that you will be proud to own and give to your grand children, this is the place. Ask for Joe. He is the best. Not As Big As Reviewed Previously
I was disappointed at the size of this mall when I visited it today. After reading how large it was on this site, I thought I'd have to rush to see it all in 3 hrs. I was finished after about an hour or so. The building itself is 13,920 sq. ft. (as listed on the property appraiser's site) and this includes the office area, restrooms, and checkout area. The mall consists of individual cubbys of antique dealer consignment areas that average about 120 sq. ft. so if you do the math, the mall hosts approx. 100 dealers or less. I was looking for furniture so I wasn't stopping and looking at every little item at every cubby, but I was disappointed at the overall area size & left empty-handed. Antiques mixed with collectibles and retail goods.Lyon's Head Antique Great Experience
We enjoy shopping very much at Lyons Head. The Treasures are awesome and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend it to all my friends.Taken by a Reproduction
I bought a blue milk bottle thinking that it was an original piece. The tag did not indicate that it was a reproduction. After doing a little research, I discovered that this is a widely available reproduction, being sold for half as much as I paid. I am open to purchasing reproductions, but I do think that it is important for retailers to make a good faith effort to label their pieces correctly and sell at a price that is fair. This seems to be a clear case of trying to pass of a reproduction for an original piece. I called the store to ask if anything could be done, and my disappointment was exasperated by an argumentative sales clerk who clearly was not willing to correct the situation.Worldwide > United States > Port Richey, FL > Antiques
