Typical Diner
Good food, friendly atmosphere. The food is your average diner food so don't come in with really high expectations. Portions aren't spectacular, drive the extra mile to Tops in East Newark.

Traditional diner
Just what you have come to expect from a typical New Jersey diner. The food is good, hot, and ample. The wait staff is quick and friendly. The desserts are spectacular and the coffee is great.

Not impressed
This is a typical NJ diner - no frills, nothing special, no specialties that stick out. service is good, but the food is just run of the mill. I would say breakfast is the best meal of the day for this diner.

One of the worst in the area
This diner is within a bike ride of my house, but I'm always disappointed when I go. If I go with a large group, they can never accommodate us together. If I go with a few friends, the food is never satisfying or comes after a long wait. With some many other great diners, you shouldn't waste your time here.

Average diner not the best
The lyndhurst diner is your typical diner. The food is like every other diner in the county but if you are looking for a good meal go for lunch it is satyisfying. The past reviews i have read are true, if you go in a large group its a long wait, in a small group its not that long of a wait. Its never my first choice i usually choose the candlewyck diner in East Rutherford. Qick friendly service and the food is very good

Best Diner in Jersey!
This diner has great food, good prices, and friendly service. It almost has a restaurant feel to it. The staff is always pleasant and very helpful. Not only do they have room for large groups, they are very kid friendly. They have two sets of bathrooms and a child changing station (which is rare in diners). Every diner in New Jersey should be as good as the Lyndhurst Diner.
