Beautiful Wedding site

This is a huge beautiful facility that normally rents for about $3000, but their Weekday Wedding Rate is $1000 and they have Off-Season rate specials as well in the winter.

You get both the indoor and outdoor areas for your party. The event I attended had cocktail hour in the garden and a raw bar on the covered veranda. We had a private family only toast in a antique-filled parlor. There was a ballroom for dancing that had huge chandliers and a marble fireplace. There are multiple rooms. There is an oval parlor which was great for the wedding photos with all the woodwork. Another great place for photos was the staircase with a Palladian window . It is air conditioned. It was a really beautiful mansion to have a wedding.

Great venue for weddings, see photos.

I was selected to photograph a wedding reception at the Lyman Estate because I had experience with both event photography and historic architectural photography, having work published in This Old House Magazine. The location is a good example of a Federal period country estate, and is part of Historic New England. Demi Beetar is the coordinator there and is a real gem. The dining was outside under a tent, and the dancing was indoors, in the grand ballroom. There were smaller break-out rooms which made this venue a unique and comfortable setting to photograph in.
