Good Food and Ambience But very expensive
I have dined at Louis Chophouse several times over the years with my family. The Sunday bruch is excellent and overall food quality has been good. It seems however that they are pricing themselves way above the rest raising their prices alot over the last few years where now it seems I can't afford to eat there anymore with my whole family. I don't mind paying a little more for good food but they have priced themselves above every restauant in the area unjustifibly. The prices for their kids meal are absorbant so I would recommend you leave the kids at home. I now would only go there for special occasions and I am not sure it would be my #1 pick even for that.Exceptional
My family and I have been dining at Louis' for a few years and at Mr. Paul's and Louis' by far has the better menu, steaks and Prime Rib while still being more resonably priced. I would deffinitly reccomend Louis' for all dinner occasions, and highly reccomend trying the Tiramisu for dessert. Just recently I returned to Louis' with a group of 15 for my mothers birthday. I figured for a special occasion why not take my mother to my favorite restaurant and the restaurant that was named the number 1 special occasion restaurant in Macomb County, but besides that service again was exceptional, dinner was excellant as always, and it was just an exceptional and joyful evening. The atmosphere is as wonderful as the food. The menu offers a wide variety so very easy to choose from and everything is wonderful..you can't order anything and not be happy.
The best for miles around. Great food, great atmosphere great location great pricing. You will be satisified with anything that you choose from the menuBest steaks around.
hi would like too tell you Louis is a great place too eat a little pricey. They have a 22oz Tbone steak too die for. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm. Great place to go on holiday. Sunday brunch is excellent. Will see me there again.Great Place!!!!!!

I am very critical on restaurants as my brother is a manager at one.Great traditional chop house
I reluctantly write this great review of Louis' Chop House out of fear that it will get too busy.A Favorite
We live close by and it is our favorite local restaurant. It has a beautiful interior and fabulous steak. We have loved every visit. All Around, DELIGHTFUL!
This bar is low lit peaceful atmosphere with the soft symphony of a stand up bass and piano playing softly in the rear. It couldn't be a more complementing setting to drinks which I was served. There were two bar tenders working whom I will never forget -Sarah and Kristen-. They were overly polite and experts at their trade. Sarah offered me the perfect Merlot for my filet as I am no wine expert. The music kept me there longer than planned as I polished off two of the best tasting martini's I have ever had which was served by Kristen (Egg Nog Martini and Espresso Martini). I greatly recommend this Chop House!!!!! It's a bit hard to find but do not let the strip mall fool you!Staeks, Fish and those yummy Au Gratin Potatoes
First off, the owners are the same ones that owned the old Rivera's restaurant that use to be on the N/W corner of 10 mile and Gratiot. Those in the know will remember that they had the best fish and chips on the eastside and every Friday people were lined up outside the door to get some. Well, the current place has the same recipe and that brought us to Louis' the first time. The fish and chips were excellent but not as good as I remember them from 10 and Gratiot...maybe because the pieces were smaller and more crispy back then.Worldwide > United States > New Baltimore, MI > Steakhouses
