Could be a nice store if customer service improved
A nice selection of vintage-inspired jewelry, much of this store's stock is overpriced and minimal. Each time I have gone into this store, I have not been greeted in any way by anyone except with an unfriendly glance followed by being ignored. I don't go into this store anymore due mostly to the lack of approachability. The cutest boutique in New York!!!
I love Loopy Mango! There's two actually, the one of Front St. is my favorite. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it. I always get a ton of compliments on everything I buy there, especially dresses. They have an amazing selection, I never buy so many things from any other store. I live in Manhattan now, but always go there for shopping, it's definitely worth the trip. And the interior is sooooooo beautiful, I could live in that store it's so adorable!Amazing selection & great prices
I discovered Loopy Mango quite recently while on my way to the chocolate factory in Dumbo. This was a great find! They have an excellent selection of dresses as well as jeans. I got two dresses and the cutest denim jumpsuit, I will definitely return for more. Staff is very friendly and offers great suggestions. The space itself is quite amazing, and apparently all of their furniture is for sale as well (great mirrors!). I would definitely recommend this store.very cute shop, great dresses
My friend who lives in Dumbo recommended this boutique to me. She always shops there, and I love all her clothes that she bought there. I finally made it to Brooklyn a few weeks ago, and I absolutely adored this store! I wear dresses a lot and it's hard for me to find the right fit, but at Loopy Mango they have so many styles, the problem this time was that I liked too many of them. Anyway, I will definitely be a frequent visitor.Store sells items bought off the floor on sale at department stores
The first time I set foot in this store I could not believe that they were in business. They had a Marc by Marc Jacobs denim vest with a Neiman Marcus tag hanging from it and it was several seasons old. I guess they thought that was "vintage." And the best was a Marc Jacobs Stam quilted Stam bag with a Nordstrom's tag hanging off of it with red pen marking that it was on sale... at Nordstroms. Then mixed in, they had other small label designers. The furniture is for sale too. This place is a really bad Anthropolgy meeting a poorly conceptualied vintage store curated by someone who doesn't know what "vintage" really is. Why and how they opened a second location in the neighborhood, I'm not sure. But be aware... you're getting last years styles at last years prices. Stay away.Great jewelry & dresses
Loopy Mango is one of my favorite stores! The other reviewer that talked about Marc Jacobs & vintage stuff must be talking about some other store. May be their old store has vintage, but at the new one on Front St. all the clothing is new and I haven't seen anything by Marc Jacobs. I definitely remember seeing Tracy Reese, Rachel Roy, Tocca (I bought a very cute Tocca dress myself), etc. and some less known designers that I don't remember the names of, but all the collection appears to be current, not last season. I saw the same Rachel Roy dress on their website too. I brought a few of my friends to this store and they all love it! I'm so glad they're in the neighborhood, I can do all my shopping for clothes without going to Manhattan. And their jewelry selection is amazing too--the whole store is so adorable, it's like a beautiful jewelry box itself.Ready for a truly unique style? That is what this boutique is all about!
It's been fun to see the store evolve from hand-made crochet and vintage to the epitome of style and fashion. What a lovely store!
I recently read about Loopy Mango in New York Times and it sounded like a great place to visit on my next trip to NY and I go there quite often. I don't normally have time to go to Brooklyn, but I was so glad I did--I've never been to Dumbo before and the area is so cute. You get a great view of Manhattan skyline. Anyway, back to Loopy Mango. I picked up a couple of dresses and a cashmere sweater, everything fit perfectly and one of the dresses was by a new designer Mischen (I haven't heard that label before) and I absolutely loved it. I also fell in love with one of the mirrors there, but since I live in Chicago, it would be too expensive to ship it there, I wish I lived in New York! Also, there's a very cute children's store called Pomme around the corner from Loopy Mango--they have the most adorable children's clothes I've ever seen!Worldwide > United States > Brooklyn, NY > Clothing
