Wonderful Owner
The owner is wonderful and very nice and caring about children. I did'nt feel comfortable with the toddler teacher though. She seemed out of it for a lack of a better description.Great preschool with int'l flavor
My 4-year-old son has attended this preschool for 2 years. He started in the toddler room (up to 2 1/2), proceeded to the preschool room (up to 4), and recently moved to the pre-K class. He has been challenged in an open, reliablie environment. They do sound spacey.
I've spoken with several instructors trying to get preliminary information on Little Blossom. They seem surprised and overwhelmed at being queried about curriculum, daily schedules, teacher-student ratios, and tuition rates. The director is always out, they don't know when she'll be in, and she will not return calls. The only information that appears definite is that there is a waiting list. I'd hate to put my child in this school and get the same vague, spacey, handling when asking for progress reports. They really need to understand they're running a school here, not a snotty restaurant! Facts and figures, please. Less attitude, thank you.Impossible to get any information
I really wanted to find out about this school since it is close to my house. I got turned away trying to visit since I did not have an appointment, but I only dropped in after calling multiple times to try to make an appointment, but could never get a return call. The director was never there (or at least that is what they told me), no one could answer questions and they just seemed really secretive. Anwyay, after visiting a few other preschools (Centennial, Sutterville) I realized that Little Blossom is definitely unusual in this approach and I would not feel comfortable sending my children there.Been a great place for our daughter
My daughter has attended this school for over a year. She loves her teachers and at 3 1/2 can name and locate all the continents. I always find the staff helpful and responsive. We're very happy.Great school if you are a follower!
This seems to be a great school. Most of the kids, including mine, greatly enjoy themselves and most of the parents seem to appreciate it too. Not a good school if you want to be involved in your kid's education or even have input. In the 8 months or so my child has been there, I have approached 2 different teachers with two different concerns as diplomatically as I could. Each time, I was met with defensiveness and denial about something that was non-threatening in my opinion, just a request for clarification about a practice in one instance and, in another, to ask the teacher to keep an eye on a particular child who, according to mine, was teaching dirty words. In this instance, I prefaced my question with openness that my child could be telling a lie or could be learning the words elsewhere. I was met with hostility that I would think that any kid (besides mine, I guess) could be saying bad words. My wife seems to get a much better reaction from the two women so either I am nWarm & Loving Place to Learn
Little Blossom offers a loving environment, structure and Montessori teaching. We really could not have asked for a better preschool for our two boys. Our youngest is currently at the school. Our older son attended the school between 2003 and 2005. The kids have freshly prepared meals for lunch each day, complete with fruits or veggies and milk, as well as healthy snacks. All the staff genuinely love the children. Montessori methods are used for teaching, and I am always amazed at how much the children learn. My older daughters attended a Montessori preschool in the Bay Area which we really loved. Our experiences at Little Blossom have been equally positive. Little Blossom has been a nurturing place for my sons' care and development.Worldwide > United States > Sacramento, CA > City Government
