leaf
leaf is all vegetarian food. it has a really nice ambiance and if you are in to gourmet vegetarian food- this is the place for you. it is a but pricy, but not awful.Leaf is Great...but
The service left a bad taste. A server asked for my order & while I was in mid-sentence we were interrupted by another customer. The server tended to the customer, returned and proceeded to carry a conversation with the person in front of me--who had already ordered!Great Raw Food, Good Service
Unlike the previous reviewer, I found the service to be friendly and attentive. The staff gave us reccomendations and explanations of dishes. If you are interested in raw food, this is definitely a place to try. If not, it will be an unusual and tasty culinary excursion. The ambience is great, compared to similar types of places, but keep in mind that it is an "order at the counter" type restaurant..Tasty and Friendly
I just had lunch at Leaf and my friends and I had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and talkative and had some great suggestions since it was our first time. I tried the Trinity Sampler which allowed me the choice of three items off the menu all mixed together. It was really tasty, but a little too big for lunch. I recommend maybe just sticking to one choice, getting a wrap, or sharing a salad. The food is really fresh and flavorful and the Strawberry Mousse dessert was AMAZING. Who would have thought that cashews and dates would make the most delicious crust. Try Leaf for lunch. It beats eating fast or processed food and you will leave feeling full and healthy.A little disappointed
I drive by this place all the time, and yesterday, I decided to stop and try it. Now, they may have just been having a bad day, but I was really let down by my experience. First, there was a really wierd smell in the place, and to be honest, who can eat when there is a funky smell around. Also, their organization could use a little, um, organizing. The server brought me the wrong dish twice, and they all seemed a bit confused as to whose food went where. The meal itself was bit salty for my taste, but it was just hard to enjoy at all with that smell lingering. Maybe, I'll try it again... to go.different...
If your tired of heavy, processed food, this is definetely worth a try. Tried the "Trinity Sampler" in a "sprouted grain tortilla". I thought lettuce wrap wasn't gonna fill me up. Get the "sunrise burger" for sure. Everything was good. Nice change from your usual "veggieburger". Ended everything with a brownie, it was alright for a vegan brownie. Nice grainy, earthy taste. The "whipped cream" completed it. The only thing that bothered me was the extra $1 for extra sauce. But it's worth it.Favorite!
My boyfriend and I tried out leaf and absolutely LOVED it! We didn't know what to expect, so we both went for the trinity sampler: he w/ the salad, me w/ the wrap. We both couldn't believe how amazing the dishes were! The decor is clean and fresh, but this is an 'order at the counter' type of place. Our only other experience eating at a raw food restaurant was at a fancier, more expensive place. We were amazed to find a place w/ equal quality food (taste and presentation) at such a lower cost ... we absolutely love it! It's our favorite casual dining spot.Great concept, a bit expensive
We have been here 3 times thanks to the reviews here. The food is a great concept. The dishes can be difficult to tell apart. Main entrees come in the shape of a salad or a wrap. The salads are twice as much stuff but only $2 more. We paid around $40 for two the first two times. But one has to consider that almost every item at the place is certified organic. I wish I could have nothing but this food for a few months and see if I lose weight or lower my cholesterol, but it is too expensive for every day consumption. The staff is a bit dazed and giddy but friendly. They seem to have been selected to cover various races: white, black, Latin, Asian.Fresh Organic Food--Good for lunch
A good place to get a wrap or salad. Many options to choose from.good
