My experience as a teacher at Le Petit was a challenging obstacle. The head of school, Damarys Zarling, is very unprofessional, disrespectful and self centered. The only parents that she shows respect to are the parents with nice looking husbands or the couple that are powerful people in the community that can benefit her. She can not keep staff due to her dramatic ways. She smokes cigarettes behind a building while children are present on campus. She is only concerned about her bank account. Never once was she concerned about a child's well being in her care. I was a teacher at Le Petit let me explain the things you don't see. The head of school is dramatic, abusive; emotionally & verbally to her staff, parents and yes even the children who she thinks are weak. She threatens staff members with various things believing we are intimidated by her, she is a bully!!! She is unable to keep staff so she has her housekeeper as a teacher's assistant. She does not care about the safety or well being of a child in this school. Her bank account comes before EVEN her own children, the head of school does not have her priorities straight nor is she competent to run a school with children. Look into Lehrman & Cushman for the best interest of you children!!

Unrespectful head of the school towards parents and staff. Extreme rotation of teacher and teacher assistants due to bad treatment and abuse from the Director. Awful Parent/Teacher communication because it is imposed by the Director.
