How would you describe your personal experience?
My experience at Last place on earth is an wonderful place to visit and purchase food, animals and etc. When walking into the place, the customers were friendly and even the parrots speaks as well. They have a variety of animals to choose from even you can order the type(breed) of dogs you wants.

Most Knowledgeable Staff for your pet needs!
LPOE is the only pet shop in town that has it all and knows it all! This pet shop is a hidden gold mine for those with all types of pets. A full line pet shop with the most knowledgeable staff, you can't get this kind of attention at a "corporate store". From Guppies to Puppies, Angel Fish to Oscars, Boas to Iguanas, Cockatiels to Parakeets, this store has it ALL! Check out LPOE's talking Macaw named Smeigal, she is the store pet and will greet you as you enter with a HELLO or HOLA! That is the first bird I have met that is bilingual. When they say Full Line Pet Shop, they mean it.

Last Place on Earth is BEST place on earth for your pets!! They are very knowledgable beyond compare when it comes to all pets, not just typical dog questions. They by far offer the best customer service before, during & after your purchase & are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied & all questions & concerns are addressed. Puppies that have LPOE as a home before making it to your home are truly lucky(I know this 1st hand) & you will not find this level of knowledge, service & enthusiasm about pets at any chain store! I highly recommend checking out the crew at Last Place on Earth, it will certainly be your only Charlotte pet store for years to come!

Avoid this place if you love pocket pets
I love all animals and I was appalled when I called this place for help adopting my pocket pet and they told me straight over the phone that they'd keep him for maybe a month and then FEED HIM TO A SNAKE! It was disgusting to hear, I understand snakes need to eat to and I don't have a problem with that, but to tell someone who is just trying to find a home for their pet that they'd do harm to it, it is downright sick and disgusting. STAY AWAY GO TO PETCO!

Do NOT support puppy mills!
Do not let their friendly service sway you into buying a puppy. The puppies are sooo cute and no one wants to leave them there, but we need to to put an end to puppy mills. Last Place On Earth supports puppy mills. All of their puppies are shipped from puppy mills in Kansas. The pet store most likely pays around $100 for the puppies and then they turn around and charge you $600. They do not care about these puppies, they are trying to run a business and make a profit. They will tell you that these places (puppy mills) are regulated by the USDA, and yes that is true. The USDA also inspects the sites of farm animals raised for slaughter. The conditions of these puppy mills will make you sick. These poor puppies mother's spend their entire lives in cages and do not receive the vetinary care, food, shelter, and love that they need. They are bred to death, literally! Please adopt from a shelter instead. If everyone does this animals will not have to suffer any longer.Worldwide > United States > Charlotte, NC > Pet Stores
