best dress shop!
Being in a bind for a homecoming /prom dress can be a stressful situation. I went to peaches and didn't see anything different and unique. La Joli Mode has a lot of one a kind dresses and styles you wouldn't normally see at other shops. The dresses run about the price, but I loved the piece of mind knowing that my dress wouldn't be something cliche or something someone else had. The only complaint was that alterations there were a bit pricey, so I would recommend taking it somewhere else for alterations!

expensive copies of original designer gowns
I can't believe this store is in business. Every single dress they have I saw at House of Brides, Eva's or Davids FOR LESS MONEY!. They don't carry one single name brand designer...not one. They claim they make their own gowns..one of a kind. Except every one of their one of a kind gown is a copy of a gown I saw and tried on in all the other stores on 95th, but was priced more. So this makes no sense to me. If they're going to copy gowns, at least they should price them for less. I know they had another location somewhere in the Northside but closed it recently, may be they'll close this one too.

The BEST bridal shop in Oak Lawn
Thank you Ellie and Delilah for all your help, I bought my dream wedding dress and I'm so happy with the decision I made. I paid a visit to both stores north and south and they are both equally nice and polite! All the other surrounding shops are so unprofessional and rude, La Joli Mode handle you with sophistication and respect and that's whats most important! Thanks again!!

BEST BRIDAY BOUTIQUE WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
My best friend and I were both searching for bridal gowns we went to many bridal shops and found nothing!! on our way home we stopped at La Joli Mode just to peek in, as soon as we walked through the door we both knew that we will find something here! The boutique was clean and so organized it was very easy to look at each dress. Susan and Mary were helping us they were very kind and helpful after 2 hours we felt like they were our family. My best friend Lucy tried on her first dress and didn't want to take it off, i tried on my first two dresses and really like the bottom portion of one dress and the top portion of another so i couldn't decide, until Susan told me i can combine the top & bottom and create a whole new dress!!! After 2 hours of staring in the mirror and admiring the dresses, we both ended up buying them then & there even though lucy's wedding isnt until 2011. My friend also bought her dress there and we recommend the shop to anyone we come in contact with who is getting married. Very one on one service!
