La Isla Bonita
This is an authentic Mexican Restaurant and the servers greet you in Spanish and are VERY friendly! They will help teach you some Spanish if you have children or don't speak Spanish. I like that they serve warm refried bean dip with your complimentary tortilla chips! The fish tacos are great and the meals are plentiful. I ordered 2 dishes and couldn't even eat 1! Their specialty margarita is huge and good!

Fantastic Pina Colada's!!
We love this restaurant. Not only is the hamburger and french fries tasty enough to satisfy a picky child; the burritos and enchiladas are super! Our favorite pina colada is served here and the wait staff is always friendly.

Family Favorite
We loved these guys when they were in Wilsonville. We'll drive all the way to NE Portland to eat there. Wonderful staff - wonderful food - wonderful decor!

The Good kind of Generic
I've eaten at La Isla many times and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. While neither atmosphere nor menu will knock your socks off, La Isla has decent food for a decent price from nice people.

We keep going back...
We find ourselves returning again and again. We love the service and the staff is super friendly. We love the fresh, warm chips and bean dip & salsa. We've tried many things on the menu, all have been good with the exception of the chicken tacos, but I love the chili rellenos and any of the burritos. I'm going back tonight and can't wait for that cold bottle of Corona, warm chips and bean dip and order whatever the special is and be a pretty happy customer! Also, it's a great place to have a conversation while you're dining - the booths are big and roomy and private and it's never too noisy. Prices are reasonable, too!

best custumer service, not a problem with parking
I was one of the cooks in this restaurant, im not gonna say is the best, but there is very good food for the price, it is clean thats one of the good things you got to know, my wife still works there, if you go there ask for Jovita she will give you good service and is not just for the tip... thank you every bodyWorldwide > United States > Portland, OR > Restaurants
