Straight to Grub!
This place is THE place to eat Cuban food in the Pasadena/Glendale area. The fried bananas are scrumptious. The yucca is delicious and juicy. The steaks and chicken are awesome too. The best part is; the food is CHEAP! It can get crowded on the weekends but it is worth it!

good comida (food)
i remember when this restaurant was nothing more than a few tables and a glass cake display. and it was around the corner about 2 blocks down off glendale ave. it was like eating at home. i am cuban/mexican and have the tongue for flavor, its inherant. now i go to La Cubana, food is still as good as before, but now its like eating at home, only a nicer home, with nice tables and chairs, you know, somewhat formal. but i still go in with kahki bermuda shorts , my open guevera,yes gold chain blazing, my panama hat, and i still enjoy a fine delicious meal, with attention from the staff that has always been most supreme.

La Cubana Review
We were very disappointed in the food. The roast pork although moist had no flavor. We asked for salsa, but the best they could do was point us to a bottle of Tapatio hot sauce. The plantains were not ripe, therefore on the hard side. The service was extremely slow. We had to flag a waitress to have our order taken. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Authentic Cuban
I would recommend this restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner meal. The food is really good if you catch it on a good day. I love the Lengua and the Plantains when they are ripe. Price is good too. I wouldn't recommend the service though. That's the only down-side to the place.
