for a public school....

it's pretty good! I've found the faculty to be very engaged in what they do....and since they have a major part in educating my child...that's very comforting!
My only gripe is that there are so many extra costs! I know that public schools don't get a lot of funding, and paying a little for field trips and special class projects is necessary...but every week we get a list of supplies needed for projects for the following week....plus a request for colored copy paper. If the funds aren't there....I think some of the projects could be eliminated or altered to use materials that are available...or at least ones that most households have like egg cartons and T.P. rolls not pricey foam pieces, etc.
