Terrible customer service
I went there the other night to buy a bottle of wine. First of all - they have a sign indicating they will not accept credit cards for under $30 which is illegal!!!! I tried to pay with my credit card for an $8 bottle of wine and the woman who worked the cash register would not take my card. But she suggested that if I bought a more expensive bottle of wine, she would let the $30 minimum slide. I told her I had no cash and this is the wine I wanted - she refused to sell it to me and told me she would rather lose the sale despite the competition in the neighborhood.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have never been so turned or so mistreated at a wine shop, or any retail store in my entire life. Letting go of the fact that I was harassed to give money to some guy right outside before entering, upon entering and beginning to look at their selection, I got the NASTIEST look from the woman within the first 2 minutes of deciding between a few bottles of wine. Not only did the woman in there make me feel uncomfortable, but she did not like me reading the wine bottles. It's not like I was going around picking up every single bottle of wine in there, but from the get go, it's like she did not want me in the store. At first I decided to look over it and ignore her trifling act, but a few minutes after that I had an altercation that forced me to walk out the store before I got even more angered. DON'T GO HERE if you respect good customer service. From now on, I'll get my wine elsewhere.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Liquor and Wine
