The Huntington Hilton recommended this cab service to take us to a restaurant Victorios at 6:00 p.m. on 11/11/11 in Amityville. Straight run from Hilton down 110. They quoted me a rate of anywhere between 17 and 20 dollars. When we arrived at our location the price was suddenly $24 dollars. I called the company and asked them why the price was so different. Posted in the cab where the rates. $4 for the 1st mile, $1 for each addtional 1/2 mile and $2 for an extra passager. Well I took my car the next morning and to my amazement it was a total of 6 miles from the hotel. Guess what they should not have charged more than $17-$18 dollars. If they are overcharging for Long Islanders what are they doing to people who are tourist on long island. I do not recommend this establishment. We had the restaurant call for a cab and they charged us $17.50.
