VERY HONEST AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE
I took my wife's Mazda because it was making some unusual brake noise. The manager approached me and said that they have test drive and take the tires off to inspect it and it will take few minutes as they were busy with existing customer. I agreed to leave the car and told them to call me after they check the brakes. I received a call from manager after 30 minutes that the brakes were fine and there was a plastic wrapped around the wheels causing that noise. They did not charged me anything. I appreciate their honesty and will definitely take all my cars there for repair and maintenance. It is a certified place and they warranty their work for a year.

I have been here several times and each time they seem to get more and more scandalous. Last time I went the service tech came in and told me all these things wrong with my car, then pulled me to the side and said actually there was nothing wrong with it, but the boss lady told him to tell me things were wrong so they could make more profit... I applaude his honesty. My hubby then took his in a week later and they advised he needed new brake pads and they could do that for him. He (knowing they are crooked) took it to brake experts who (would you believe it) said your brakes are fine and do not need to be replaced. We asked them are you sure, bc we just had it checked at kwik kar in Van Alstyne, and they assured us those people were just trying to scam you bc there is nothing wrong with your brakes. i should have called the police on them to set these people up. this is not good business.

I usually don't write reviews but I happened to come across theses and I wanted to express my own since I go to Kwik Kar in Van Alstyne for oil change on regular basis. It appears some of the negative comments posted most likely come from a disturbed, disgruntle customer or a former unhappy employee wanting to discredit these good folks at Kwik Kar. I have been going to Kwik Kar since they open in 2005 to do oil changes and other scheduled maintenance services even-though I am a customer service manager for a large auto dealership in Dallas for the past 22 years. I get most of my services done at Kwik Kar because they are fast, convenient and they follow the same manufacturer guidelines as we do at the dealership. I read one negative comment from Drew R. claiming he has cheated Kwik Kar by making a deal under a table with a Kwik Kar employee and had paid him $100 cash to repair his car without generating and sales.
