Specifically our dentist is Dr. Peter Kono at the Palo Alto Dental Group. I have been going here since I was a child and would never go anywhere else. Dr. Kono has cared for all my family for a number of years. He is really great with children for extractions, root canals and cavity-filling. He knows what each of my children's needs are, in terms of pain thresholds anesthesia. The front office staff is very courteous & helpful. I highly recommend this dentist.Be Careful!
I took my 2 children to Palo Alto Dental Group for routine cleaning and checkup The costs were $150 for two. At the end of the visit, I was told to sign up for follow-up appointments which I did. However, at the end of the 2nd visit, my bill came up to be $700+ for services that I was never informed about. The doctor eventually agreed to waive the charges but discontinued my children’s dental care. Some time later, my own doctor also discontinued my dental care, and the office staff refused to gave any explanation nor allow me to talk to my doctor.the worse experience!!
It's the worse experience! It started from the front desk who doesn't know what they are doing. They are charging me for something that my insurance covers. I even 3-way them with my insurance which my insurance explained that they will cover for it, but the front desk still insisted that it's not covered!! Then, when I told them that i will 3-way them again with the insurance so they can explain things all over again, then, the front desk, male employee (he said he's the manager), told me that I should change my dentist. Believe me, I've been looking for a much much better place, but what really bothered me was he broke the HIPPA regulations and mentioned and told me that one of the employee who is no longer there has Cancer! That is against the patients and employees confidentiality!! I don't need to know that and I have no right to know someone else diagnosis and neither do he!! I will get that very incompetent Palo alto Dental employee's name and make sure he knows the policy and tWorldwide > United States > Palo Alto, CA > Dentists
