Worse Pediatric Doctor!
Worse doctor I've ever seen, my son has a fever, cough and horrible fungal diaper rash. The doctor said she will give me medicine and the diaper rash medicine have to be put on 3 times a day for a week. So I went down to the pharmacy to get the medicines but I found out I was missing the diaper rash medicine so I ask the pharmacy, they said Dr. Kong only prescribed the fever and cough did not prescribe the diaper rash medicine so we went back up to her office and told her she accidentally left out the diaper medicine, but instead of writing a new form for me she got really mad and told me she never promised me any diaper rash medicine and if my son has diaper rash call her then she will contact the pharmacy and for me to pick up. I told her no she promised me and also told me how to use it for 1 week then 2 times a day for next week. She started loud tone of voice and complained to me saying that the diaper rash medicine is not to be used often and I told her I never have that medicine

Don't Go to this Pediatric Doctor, Worst Mistake I Ever Made.
I was so mistaken about Dr. Kong when I took my one week old son to be seen for a bad cough and phlegm which made my son struggle to eat. She said that nothing could be done because he was too little. This was on a Thursday on Sunday I noticed my son had a lump on the side of his neck so I paged her. She said to bring him in on Tuesday that it was nothing to worry about to be taken to emergency. When I brought him he was struggling to eat and to breath but she just kept on saying he was too little until I told her that he had a fever then she said to take him to emergency. It was the worst experience I had having to be in a position where your doctor does not listen until it's too late. I regret not going to my older daughter's pediatrician. Please be careful with whom you entrust your children lives even if they are doctors.

I thought she was good
I like Dr. Kong. I think she is professional, she listened to everything I said/asked, she encouraged me to ask questions, and she called back when i paged her. When i was very worried about my newborn (I had a cold sore) she went above and beyond finding out about it, and even called the CDC. I hope she continues to be a great pediatrician. my baby is only 6 weeks old, so only time will tell

Kong-Thein Lorna Md is an exceptionally great doctor
In my opinion, Dr. Kong is a good pediatrician. Dr. Kong listens to all my questions and concers and explains her answers very well. When my 3 year old boy was a week old newborn he had a severe case of jaudice and Dr.Kong immediatelly instructed me to take him to an emergency room. Me being a picky mother took him to an Arcadia hospital where he was kept for 3 days, 2 of which she came in during her work hours to see how his condition was. I was exceptionally satified with her work therefore, i decided to have her as my daughters pediatrician, whom aswell came down with a not as severe case of jaudice and was only hospitalized overnight. She visited her the day she was discharged. I page her aswell and receive a callback the same day. I call her office and she calls back no less than 1 hour later. I am very satisfied with her and i entrust my children to her.

Prepare yourself for two hours of waiting even thou you have an appointment. She doesn't answer your call on or after hour.

WORST DOCTOR
SHE IS ONE OF THE WORST DOCTORS I'VE EVER TOOK MY KIDS TOO. THATS ONE MISTAKE I'LL REGRET FOR LIFE, AT FIRST SHE'S ALL NICE THEN WHEN SHE'S IN A BAD MOOD SHE GIVES YOU IN ATTITUDE WHEN ANSWERING YOUR QUESTIONS YOU HAVE OF YOUR KIDS. SHE ALSO HAS THE HABIT OF GIVING YOU THIS FACE WHEN SHE ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS. SHE TALKS TO YOU IN A TONE THAT MAKES YOU FEEL LIIKE YOUR IGNORANT. SOME TIMES SHE DON'T EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO LISEN TO YOUR CONCERNS ON YOUR CHILD. I TOOK M CHILD IN ONCE BECAUSE HE HAD SOME BROWN LIQUID COMING OUT OF HIS EAR AND SHE JST PRESCRIBED AMOXICILLIAN AND TOLD ME TO GO BACK IN 10 DAYS, WELL I WENT BACK IN ABOUT 6 OR 7 AND SHE GOT MAD AT ME OR BEING CONCERNED OF MY SONS EAR. I TOLD HER TO DOO SOMETHING ELSE BECAUSE THAT WASN'T WORKING. SHE DID, SH GAVE ME ANOTHER VERSION OF AMOXICILLIAN JUST WITHA DIFFERNT NAME ( I LOOKED IT UP) SO I WENT BACK A FEW DAYS LATER AGAIN BECAUSE BY NOW MY SON WAS GETTING A DISCHARGE THAT WAS KIND OF BLACKISH. WELL WHEN I GOT IN THE FIRST THING SHE DES I ATTACK ME BECAUSE SHE TOLD ME NOT TO BE CLEANING OUT HIS EARS. SO I MAKE HER SEND MY CHILD TO A SPECIALIST , SINC SHE HAS NO CLUE WHATS GOING ON WITH MY CHILD, OF COURSE SHE GETS MAD AND TELLS ME IT WILL TAKE 1 WEEK FOR HER TO GET AN AUTHORIZATION FROM MY INSURANCE BUT NOT TO WORRY CUZ SHE'D MAKE SURE SHE SAID IT WAS URGENT. GUESS WHAT I CALL MY INSURANCE THE NEXT MORNING CUZ IT WAS LATE WHEN I HAD TAKEN HIM IN TO HER OFFICE. SURPRISE, SURPRISE THE INSRANCE TELLS ME THEY NEVER GOT ANY REQUEST FOR AN AUTHORIZATION FOR MY SON. SO I FILED A COMPLAINT ON HER WITH MY INSURANCE AND GOT MY INSURANCE TO GIVEME THAT AUTHORIZATION THAT SAME DAY ( REMEMBER DR. SAID IT WOULD TAKE 1 WEEK TO GET, I GUESS I'M JUST A MIRACLE WORKER RIGHT ) ANYWAYS I TOOK HIM IN TO THE SPECIALIST AND FOUND OUT THAT MY SON ALREADY HAD PUSS I HIS EAR BECAUSE IT HAD GONE SO LONG UNTREATED.
