wedding tasting
when i went for a tasting it was very dissapointed the cakes were drop dead beautiful but had no flavor .maybe they make more improvvment with flavor .... stop and shop cakes have better flavor then konditor meister......

Pretty, but AWFUL tasting!!
I always go to Icing on the Cake for every holiday and occassion, but needed a cake last minute so I went to Konditor Meister. The cake was beautiful, but we cut into it and it was another story. I have never had bad cake...I didn't think it existed, but nobody liked it. It was a huge waste of $$. The cake barely had any flavor and the flavor it did have weas not pleasing. I do not make boxed cakes, but I would have preferred a boxed cake over the taste of Konditor Meister. Over rated!!!

Great cake, great service
Not only have we ordered occasion cakes from Konditor Meister for several years, but we also ordered our wedding cake(s) from them. Every experience I have had with them has been fabulous. No mistakes on any order, and the cakes were heavenly. Always a hit at parties when you bring one, too! For my latest order, I gave the designer some ideas over the phone for a 70th birthday cake for my mom, and they did a fabulous job! The cake (strawberry grand marnier) looks even better than I imagined, and was the star of the event.

Fantastic German cakes
I have been to expensive shop where a 10in cake cost $50 up to a few hundred dollars. But at this place, I spent less than $30 and beats all others. The Omni Hotel's cakes are not as good at Konditor Meister's. My boyfriend actually licks off the icing off the plate all the time.

Amazing cakes and pastries!
Ranked best wedding cake in the nation, and I can believe it! I've had both the French pastry assortments and cakes here and have never tasted anything so good in my life. Their chocolate moose is decadent. Their cakes are very reasonably priced for what you get. I ordered a cake for a coworker and got something equivalent to a wedding cake (fed 40 people) for $45! AMAZING. Truly works of art.

Downhill
This used to be THE bakery on the South Shore to get your cakes amd baked goods from. They have expanded into a bakery which no longer has the personalized service that one often needs when ordering a special cake for a special event. The cake is very dry. I am told it is because most everything is frozen now, due the mass production. In my opinion...go to Ivy's Fine Cakes in Braintree or Canton. Ivy's has the best cake I have ever had, and the service is extremely personalized.

Never Again
Never again. I was delighted with the appearance of the cake but we were shocked and extremely disappointed by the grainy texture and the bland mousse filling I was talked into. I would have been better off with a cake from White's, Ivy's, Sunrise or bought a Montillio's cake at BJ's.

Still the Best!!!
Despite the recently negative reviews, I ordered a cake for my husbands birthday, as we have every year. Not only was it moist, the chocolate covered strawberries are to die for. I highly recommend the Strawberry Gran Marnier cake. It is also just as tasty a couple days later. I also would like to mention that I drove 45 minutes to pick it up. We live on the RI border. Worth the trip!

Not the best place for your wedding cake
I order my wedding cake there because they claim that they can do exactly the same cake which is shown on a wedding magazine. But then: 1) theme of the cake is should be light pink, they gave me light purple. 2) they double size of the decorated flower and their technique is totally different from the magazine. So I go back to the shop and ask for the decoration fee refunded, which takes 2 months to get the check.Worldwide > United States > Braintree, MA > Bakeries
