If you want to experience a bit of Menonite's heavenly bake goods and fresh organic fruits and veggies in Miami, Fl ,then you must take a ride down to Homestead's Knaus Berry Farm ,we are lucky enough to be able to go and spend a Saturday in our agricultural area and come back home with fresh made Cinammon Rolls, Herbed Bread Sticks,Upside Down Pinneaple cake ,sooo yummy and sticky you wish you had four stomachs like the cows :) ,and lets not forget those shakes ( Strawberry a must , other flavors just as good !!) ..If you live here or are visiting do not miss this place !!A First-Rate Bakery!
Knaus Berry Farm is considered a quaint scenic tourist stop, because of the German Baptist Knaus family who still owns and operates it. But it?s really worth a visit on its own merits as a bakery. The cinnamon rolls are famous, but the breads and rolls are truly not to be missed! For updated information on hours of operation, and even what?s being baked fresh each day, check out this blog from one of the bakers: w w w (dot) tiffanyblitz (dot com) /knausberryfarmmenu (the system doesn't like links!).AMAZING STICKY BUNS
There is no place I like better than Knaus Berry Farm. I have been going there with my family since I was 4 years old, and we always bring back sticky buns for our neighbors. Im 15 now, and I still go there every other month during the strawberry season with my daughter and enjoy everything they have to offer. Their shakes are amazing, and made with the freshest ingredients. Their little grocery stand also has fresh fruits and veggies and sometimes you can even go and pick your own strawberries. I definitely think this place is great for the family and kids will love the sticky buns and always want more!Mom & I love the strawberry milkshakes & sticky cinnamon bun
This place is located right across the street from where my mother Lucille went to school. They even have their annual reunion there every year. :D It is something nice that we both enjoy, getting a big strawberry milkshake which we split (I bring an extra cup for my portion.) We always buy the cinnamon sticky buns for my sons. They have a lot of fresh baked goods, tomatoes, squash, bellpeppers, onions...& beautiful flowers. The people are friendly & it's a nice area. We love when they're open.Great Place!
