My husband lived in Japan for several years and he thinks Kiki's might as well be right out of Osaka. Our kids love the Kroque a.k.a. potato croquette and the veggie tempura. We love the salmon teriyaki, any noodle dish, raw tuna bowl, and Tofudon. Note: they do take out but because it's all fresh it takes about 10minutes so I recommend calling ahead. It's inexpensive, fun, and delicious. Very veggie friendly too -Itatakimas (Bon appetite).Good price, good food
I go there at least twice a week. The japanese dishes there are fresh and always at highest quality, especially the Tuna Bowl! Friendly service! However, I wouldn't have sushi there.second to none
I'm so glad kiki's is in business because I love this place. The owner did an exceptional job with an inviting and comfortable atmosphere, and the marriage of FOOD and decor delievers up an extremely good value, you'd be a fool not to have tried this place. Although The food here is "homestyle" food, don't think that there isn't quality and attention to detail! This is one of the most affordable value oriented Japanese restaurants in COLORADO!Try some real Japanese food
Kikis is one of the most popular Japanese restaurant in Japanese/Asian groups. I have to say that some other popular/famous Japanese restaurnats have good food. They look fancy, but they are definately not the food that Japanese people have in their daily life. Kikis' food is home-style. It has lots of very good rice bowls and noodle dishes. Please don't think that sushi is the only Japanese food. It is not and it is not what Japanese people have everyday. Try Kikis. You will like it.Finally, Really Fabulous Japanese Food
Not only was I lucky enough to have a mom from Japan, I grew up and spent 40 years in the San Francisco Bay area where there is excellent Japanese food everywhere and prices were very reasonable. After moving to Colorado 8 years ago, I had yet to find a really good Japanese restaurant until I finally found Kiki's. Walking in and hearing the owners speaking Japanese, I knew this was a good thing. There menu is not only authentic but they have other creative items on it. I had the shrimp tempera, pork katsu, tofu and kim-chi (which is Korean) donburi. It was DELICIOUS! The quantity of food is not stingy as I had to take half of mine home and there prices are extremely reasonable. My husband enjoyed his sashimi and said it was so much better than the other place we go to.Worldwide > United States > Denver, CO > Sushi and Japanese Restaurants
