Appraiser made numerous errors on the appraisal. The appraiser took arbitrary and unreasonable adjustments on comparable sales data to derive the answer. The overall appraised value was 10-15% less that what should have been the appraisal based on the most recent comparable sales data. When I complained, they failed to correct the errors and came back with a canned response that either ignored or disregarded the significant discrepancies I pointed out. I provided copy of my previous appraisal as well as recent comparable sales data for homes in my immediate area. Appraisal ignored. As a result of the undervaluation, I was not able to complete refinancing. This will cost me an additional $50K in the long run. Don't waste your time with these incompetents.
