Jumpin Catfish
Thier food is fantastic and they bring you LOTS of it. They serve it family style and they you bring you big bowls of several side dishes with your entree, which they will box up to send home with you if you don't finish it, so it is a great deal for the price. It's a neat atomosphere in the restaurant as well, very comfortable almost like you're eating at someone's house instead of a restaurant.

Great catfish
If you are in the mood for some great catfish, Jumpin Catfish is calling your name. They have a couple locations in the Kansas City area. The food is served family style. They start out the meal with a bowl of beans. You then get potatoes with your main dish along with hush puppies. They have great catfish, they also have many specials during the night including shrimp and lobster specials.

Worth Driving Past
The problem with Jumpin Catfish is that there is no real alternative in this category (in the KC area). The food struggles to reach mediocre and the wait staff is completely inattentive. There is NO reason to go there.

Good food, nice place
I had the trout and it was very good. Three pieces meant I was taking some home. Enjoyed the cole slaw too. Would definitely recommend it. Had the Talapia a different time and really enjoyed that too.Worldwide > United States > Kansas City, MO > Seafood Restaurants
