SUMMER SPOT
On Sundays in the summer my family likes to come here to experiment with the different flavors of ice cream. With 24 or more flavors you are bound to find one that suits you. Beware of the sometimes long lines.

J R's Dairy Bar ~ SO YUMMY!!!!!!
My family has enjoyed J R's dairy bar for nearly 33 years. My mother would crave milkshakes while pregnant with me so she and my father would take the trip to J R's. It was often a treat for me after school to stop by and get a milkshake on the way home. I now take my own kids to J R's to get the best shakes around. The banana and pineapple milkshakes are so yummy!

Nice change of pace
This is my second time living in Charlotte AND eating at this little place. I have not tried the ice cream. I have however eaten the food. Although the service can be on the slow side, I have always loved their French Fries and BLTs. Hot dogs are decent too. Sometimes if your getting food, its best to call ahead and let them tell you when to pick it up.Worldwide > United States > Charlotte, NC > Desserts
