If I could give negative stars I would. In my 11 years of renting I've never had a worse experience with a management company.
I rented at Tustin Garden's Apartments and had issues with the complex managers during my final days living there. I wasn't feeling too confident in them since they'd given me some incorrect information and then tried to charge me a fee. I had never been late with rent and had never had an issue prior to this situation but never the less I was understandably eager to leave. I paid my rent up until October 10th at 5pm and we moved out on the 9th. On the 10th when I returned to do some cleaning, it was obvious someone had entered our unit. I had not yet turned in the keys and as I said, I was paid up until that evening. Some things were repaired and others were now broken. After getting nowhere with the complex manager. I called Hunt Enterprises to speak with Scott Rockline. Scott was immediately aggitated as I told him of my situation. He was very short with me and wouldn't even let me finish my sentence. He cut me off to say my friends probably broke in or have a key! My friends dont have a key, I lived here with my husband and baby. I explained to Scott that it was doubtful that my friends would break into my home to do repairs. Further more, they said no maintenance was on site that Saturday but my dad had talked to the maintenance guy as they were moving. So clearly that was a lie. Scott was rude, loud and abrasive. I asked why he was being so defensive and he continued to berate me and call me a liar. He yelled that he was angry because I was accusing his staff of entering the property and that it's illegal. I said "Yes it is". Then he hung up on me! I called back but he wouldn't take my call. It's completely appauling to me that this man who is in a high position would have so little customer service and even less empathy as a human being. Managers are supposed to listen, repeat and then try to come up with a solution in a calm manner. This guy was a loose cannon. Im shocked at the lack of professionalism and I'm completely unimpressed with his tone. The funny thing is that it really wasn't a big deal. I had expected him to listen and then tell me something like "Yes the maintenance guy entered on a work order by mistake but you won't be charged for the broken shower head"... nope, he went into a tirade and hung up. Who does that? This bipolar mess needs medication. He's the one representing this company and that's truly sad.
