Just ok selection
We were so excited when this store opened because we truly needed a neighborhood hardware store. But lately the selection has not been that great. So many times we have stopped by to pick up something simple only to find the shelf empty and end up having to make the 20 minute trip to the big chain store anyway. Although the plant selection (especially the Ferns) are great.

Hudson's is the best
This is the best hardware store I have ever shopped in. The selection is great, and the staff is very helpful. If you ever have shopped at the big box stores, you know how hard it is to find someone to help you. This is not an issue here. The guys meet you at the door and help you find exactly what you need. I have shopped at Hudson's since I was a kid coming in with my Dad. I won't go anywhere else unless I absolutely have too. There power equipment shop is the best in town too.
